The 360° View Tower represents the end and the beginning of the Brossette block. Seen from the Loire River, its volume heralds all the elements that will be developed thereafter across the site. Conversely, when viewed from the south, this architecture will complete a succession of spaces and connections that will give the Brossett e city block its character. The net volume imagined in the beginning very quickly had to be enlarged and adjusted. This involved a design that took into account the trees, the perspective from the main axis of the site, the dialog with the system of variable heights of the other buildings and its role as a signal.
Combining history, context, and culture, the Anaha tower is an extraordinary example of contemporary architectural place-making. The condominium begins the implementation of Ward Village®, which is largest Platinum Certified LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) masterplan in the country.
The site of this house was a housing development which have passed around 40 years since the area had stared selling. There are over 400 numbers of houses but they have no value as a property and people who are living in are not so young anymore. The demands of client are an over 330 square meter land space and enough distances from neighbors for a better privacy. Then the site was thought as the better conditions because of the low price of land and the density of the development.
“Dealing with Infrastructures” was the title of the thematic area under which the organizers of Europan 7 placed the site located in Vienna; in fact it was probably a kind of paradigmatic case study: a triangular plot, placed in the outskirts of the city, surrounded by a heavy traffic way, an elevated underground line and crossed by a middle tension power line… anything else? Actually it was the typical “leftover” ground generated by the trace of the infrastructures surrounding it. The social housing developers that arrived before us had already built the area, but they left the “rest” waiting for a second opportunity. This “rest” was not just a real estate opportunity, but an opportunity to generate new urban life in a neighborhood placed in the periphery of the city without a clear representative image. The Perfektastrasse 58 site was full of opportunities waiting to be discovered… to recognize them was the beginning of the project. Due to the visibility given by the underground line, the plot was already part of the image of the city for a huge number of Viennese people in their way to the city center, so the project had to operate with it. Being close to Perfektastrasse U-bahn station pointed the plot as a proper place to increase the housing density, bringing more and more people and life into the area, following the theories proposed by the Transit Oriented Development. The plot had conditions to evolve into a new urban public space, a transit place in the way to the U6 station, but also a public space where celebrate collectively the everyday life. The absence of buildings on the other side of the elevated underground line allowed excellent views from the site to the landscape of Vienna when placed 8 meter high from the ground level. By last, the green condition of the plot while waiting for a “second opportunity”, gave an image to the context, but mainly a biodiversity, that could and should be preserved.
Centre Point Tower was designed by Richard Seifert, an architect originally from Switzerland, who had settled in London as a young boy. It stands between New Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road, and emerged from the vibrant and liberating social change affecting London in the 1960s.
A grey and downbeat post-war city was starting to morph into the bright and confident world capital of style. Centre Point Tower, in its final design, was a clear, tangible representation of this thrusting reinvention of the city. With its imposing height and thoroughly modern materiality, it seemed to stand for a new generation of Londoners and embodied their collective creative energies.

Akasya Acıbadem is a residential complex designed by Evrenol Architects, a leading architecture office based in İstanbul. The project has been designed as 3 differents parcels: The Lake, The Woods and The City… The parcels are connected by the ”Oval Garden”, a central green area in the middle of the master plan.
The Paul Bourget neighborhood has long been a « terra incognita » of the Parisian cityscape. To the outside it is a citadel hanging above the tumultuous « périphérique » ring road and the swirling canopy of the Kellerman Park. Inwards it is a modest piece of the post-war urban planning boom, introverted and peacefully forgotten. Its striking sense of community is so close and yet so distant from the hustle of the nearby Porte d’Italie. Do we know of other places in Paris where residents seem to come « out of the woods » to enter the city?
On April 12th 2018, the Village Vertical was officially designated as the winning project for the Inventons la Métropole du Grand Paris competition for the Rosny-sous-Bois (93) site. The project was designed by architecture studios Sou Fujimoto, Nicolas Laisné and Dimitri Roussel in collaboration with landscape and urban designers from Atelier Georges. This development is carried out by urban developers from La Compagnie de Phalsbourg and REI Habitat.
The „Yellow leg“ apartment building is located in Šnipiškės neighborhood, on the side of Vilnius city center. The building is on a 1697m2 lot, with its footprint occupying 707m2. The area is a perfect combination of living in an affordable area that has less crowded surroundings than city center, and being able to enjoy all the things that city center has to offer within reach.
