The New BBC Business Complex in Bnei Brak

Bar Kokhba Tower is located in the southern part of the new BBC business complex in Bnei Brak, close to Jabotinsky Street. The complex, designed by the Barre-Levie Architects firm (BB/566), is rapidly developing and establishing itself on the business map within the Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area. Today, the BBC complex is already a significant center for urban employment, thanks to its attractive conditions, innovative office tower design, and proximity to major highways as well as the future light rail lines. Six towers have already been constructed and occupied by tenants, with another 30 currently in the planning stages.

Requiring their own entrances, the tourist center and the show gallery had to be orientated towards separate existing pedestrian pathways and also operated independently.

The city centre will be structurally strengthened by enlarging a modern centre of knowledge and learning, developing additional commercial premises and building new homes. The renewal project is situated right in the centre of the city. It is an integral part of the main shopping precinct that stretches between the Saint Michael Church and the Grote Markt (market square) on the one hand and the railway station on the other.

GREENOPLASTY by Labtop

Saturday, June 29th, 2013

Article source: Labtop

“It may come to mind to the designer to make a design that can release around him creative energies, suggest possibilities, open minds, take action, find references and connections that one may find for himself, if he wants to find them, and that everyone can find.”
E.SOTTSASS (1917-2007)

«Too many good people have been defeated because they tried to substitute substance for style, they forgot to give the public the kind of visible signals that it needs to understand what is happening.»

RATP formation center in Paris, France by Stephane Maupin / Nicolas Hugon

Sunday, May 1st, 2011

The building is located on the fringe of Paris city, at ‘Porte de la Villette’, an area where the urban fabric dissolves into heterogeneous industrial infrastructures. Surrounded between Paris ring road, train tracks, factories, and social housings, we were inspired by the brutality of this collage where concrete pillars clashes with raw metal, gravels collides with noisy train sounds…a mineral and raw atmosphere..
