The authors of this interior as well as the brand identities of each of the cafes of the TAKAVA chain are the famous Ukrainian designers, twin brothers native of Kherson, Volodymyr and Oleksandr Yudin. Most Ukrainians know them also as co-hosts of the Ukrainian version of the TV show “Hell’s Kitchen”. In 2000, they opened their studio in Kyiv, working throughout Ukraine, Europe and the United States. They specialize in HoReCa, retail and public places. They take care of the appearance of each project from scratch and turnkey: name, slogan, logo, corporate colors, staff clothing design, menu, takeaway and interior design!

Penthouse Renovation in São Paulo, Brazil by Studio AG office

Tuesday, May 24th, 2022

Article source: Studio AG office

The 235m² duplex penthouse was the choice of artist and influencer from Minas Gerais, Sophia Mattar, who arrived in São Paulo two years ago. With the desire to live in a property with open spaces, minimalist, elegant, but above all a true haven of peace, he hired the architects Amanda Castro and Giovana Giosa, from the Studio AG office, to lead the renovation of the project.

The generous 60m² outdoor area, with a backyard style, became even more cozy after being fully integrated into the social environments. All the walls on this floor, with the exception of the structural ones, were torn down, including the other balcony, which gave space to the dining room, which provided multipurpose, relaxing and uncluttered environments.

Oike Clinic Ladies Plaza in Kyoto, Japan by koyori

Sunday, May 22nd, 2022

Article source: koyori

This was a project to design a shared space in a newly built Kyoto clinic that focuses mainly on complete medical checkups for women.

The owner’s request was to create a comfortable space like a hotel that inspires visits by women, who tend to put off their regular health checkups.

The waiting area in the lobby is a place for patients to wait to check in at their first visit to the clinic. By arranging the sofas at random and placing artworks and displays here and there around the area, we aimed to make the face-on nature of the space more ambiguous, to create a place where people could relax like a lounge in an art gallery, rather than “just a place where you are made to wait.”

Terrain Consulting Workplace in Kew, Australia by Rob Ryan Projects

Friday, May 20th, 2022

Article source: Rob Ryan Projects

When creating Terrain Consulting’s new workplace, we developed a hybrid workplace that provided the company with the ability to be flexible and agile. The design reflects the company’s confidence in its brand as a leading Planning and Land Surveying consultancy.

The traditional ‘Front of House’ area was replaced with a welcoming communal area for informal meetings, staff lunches or large gatherings; breaking the mould of typical workplace reception areas.

BONACAPONA Restaurant in Saint-Petersburg, Russia by MODGI design studio

Wednesday, May 18th, 2022

Article source: MODGI design studio

A portion of good rural Italy in Saint-Petersburg. For our studio it was not a pilot project in our cooperation with a network of BONA CAPONA restaurants, being, however, a new look at a concept of the affordable Italian restaurant for every day visits.

What did we think about from the very beginning? Authenticity, removal to a small village in the South of Italy. Therefrom a key conceptual solution – a light, roomy interior, soaked with sun, where every detail is filled with coziness, warmness and family traditions. The basis for planning became a rational zoning principle: the central composition of the hall with a column, decorated with ceramic tiles with some openwork, sofa seat assignment with accent cushions, big floor cachepots with sprawling olive trees.

Kaufman Group in Israel by Studio Samuelov

Monday, May 16th, 2022

Article source: Studio Samuelov

Our work for Kaufman, one of the leading importers and distributors in the fields of health, comfort, design and lifestyle in Israel, was full of creativity. Kaufman Group is steadily expanding in all directions, from the web to brick and mortar. The newly created logistical center for the Kaufman space needed to depict this growth, as well as house and showcase all of its brands. It needed to embody a logistical center, but it also needed character and design.

The inspiration for this design utilized the personality of all of Kaufman’s brands, this includes the classic Italian design (Natuzzi), the comfort and ergonomics (Dr. Gav), the young vibe (Marley), and others. Through the diversity of the designs and the adhesion to Kaufman’s brands, this space brings life and joy to each who enters.
