In this apartment, we had the experience of adapting a previous project, which had not fully met the owners’ needs. The focus of the renovation was the living room and kitchen space, which also included the integration with the balcony area, little used by the couple.
This commission consisted on the re-conversion of a former electricity supply premise, located on the ground floor of a 1900 building in the center of Madrid, into offices for a new and technological real estate developer.
The required program ends up adapting to the different spaces existing between the massive structural walls.
Our interior design for Craft Jerusalem, a new Pizza restaurant located in the magical city of Jerusalem, was inspired by Italian design motives, as well as by the beautiful golden neighborhood surroundings. Our mission was twofold, to create a cozy and inviting environment, which is also trendy, giving costumers a sense of sophistication.
The restaurant, with yellow booths and a black-and-white tile floor designed exclusively for the client, also features a beautiful charcoal oven in the bar, which immediately gives visitors a homey feeling. An eclectic choice of materials (wood, tile, stone, marble), and modern furniture combine to give visitors the perfect dining experience.
The need to configure the new home according to a contemporary, clean and natural language, but not exasperated, constitutes the objective of the renovation of a beautiful penthouse for a couple of Clients for whom a sober and elegant spatiality is thus portrayed, without implementing any kind of distributional distortion, on the contrary respecting the existing arrangement of the day and night areas, only retouched for some specific improvements.
With two young kids at home, it became clear that our modest 1940’s bungalow was too small for our growing family and architecture practice. We needed more space and had plenty of it in our backyard. We decided to build an ADU on our property to house our architecture office and a guest suite. At the time, we never imagined how valuable this kind of workspace would become during a global pandemic.
Budget was a major player from the beginning. We had finite funds and a big vision. We worked closely with the contractors from the start to ensure we could meet our target budget.
Interior design and garden projects are projects of great satisfaction since architects can see the results of their designs in less time than what it normally takes to complete a building. However, interior design, when it is custom made, can be compared for complexity to a miniature building because it’s challenging and requires a lot of attention to details, even minute ones. This meticulous research of functional, aesthetic and emotional features makes possible to create a unique space.
The interior of the apartment in the central district of Saratov for a successful young man. A customer from a generation of young and motivated, deeply involved in digital technology. A young, active bachelor who works hard (his business in the IT field), travels a lot. He gave complete freedom of action and trusted our team and we can say “disappeared” and calmly waiting for the completion of the project. By functionality – combined kitchen, living room, isolated bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom was not ordinary due to the features of the layout – it has two entrances along the edges of the bed. A big plus of the apartment is that the windows face three sides, due to this there is a lot of natural light in it. The interior is dominated by dark colors of cold shades, which are consistent with a large number of concrete surfaces. The emphasis on textures plays an important role throughout the interior. Wooden decorative panels, which are visible from different corners of the apartment – warm light and wood give such a cool and dark interior comfort.
The new Warsaw headquarters of Red Bull are located in a postwar industrial building enclosed in a XIX century fort rampart. The building served as a radio and TV compartments production hall since 1960 and was revamped later on into a design workshop and office hub.
The Red Bull energy drink company best known by the extreme sport and innovative world records sponsorship expected an inspiring, authentic and sustainable office environment. The tall and naturally well-lit existing space had this potential.
This project is an international education center in an old town, connecting teachers and students from around the world. The design is an innovative and open space which fosters diverse working methods and cultural integration. We hope this layout and the resulting modern workflow will have a local influence, encouraging free interaction between people of different cultural backgrounds.
Originally, the project’s layout was a traditional closed office, and such an oppressive atmosphere doesn’t fit into the future trends of this industry. We aim to foster an environment teeming with youth, vitality and energy, given the liberal image and characteristics of international education.
