A unique educational center promoting imagination and creativity by interior designer Sarit Shani Hay. It spans a cluster of six kindergartens ages 3-6, a play commons, and an empowerment center, where each functions as an independent unit with its own identity, and together they form an educational space offering a friendly, informal environment.
The school of the 21st century needs to satisfy a long list of demands, some of which seem at first to be contradictory. It needs to have character and function as an anchoring point within the neighbourhood. It must be multifunctional, flexible, energy-efficient, sustainable, affordable, and possible to build within just a few months. Impossible? No. In fact, it was recently completed: the Integraal Kindcentrum (Integral Child Centre, IKC) Zeeburgereiland in Amsterdam, designed by Studioninedots. The building was opened on 29 November.
Gen next is a well-known preschool brand acknowledged for its ‘walk the talk’ philosophy. They follow a simple principle, ‘if you want children to be innovative and enthusiastic; you have to provide them with a stimulating and inspiring environment!’ ‘A home away from home for tiny tots’; this was the brief for the new school campus at Noida, Sector 62. It was a linear corner plot measuring 50m by 19.2m. Flanked by high-rise apartments on the north and west side, the site was framed by roads on the eastern and southern side.

One circle is the completed form because it has strong centripetal characteristics. However, overlapping two circles changes the form that has various vectors and is not centripetal. It is that it becomes the space that does not prescribe the domain as various places to stay, and it is connected to the environment gently. I expect that babies bring up sensitivity in this architecture because “Peanut” is not completed form by the same token and is a plant bearing fruit in soil.
It is a interior of kindergarten which is specific for art education.
The plan proposes a multi-purpose space to carry out regular nursery activities as well as special activities for both children and adults such as concerts, performances, exhibitions and workshops for children.
Therefore, by installing playground equipment shaped like a big mountain, which prompt various activities, I aimed to create a space where children and adults can expand their imagination.
In a strictly orthogonal urban context, in the street of Via Ugo Betti in Milan, we decided to create an oasis for children, that will break down the rigorosity with the help of organic and playful shapes. The design of the building and its surroundings will create a bridge between the neighborhood and the children by orienting itself to the main directions of the site, by respecting its weather context and by embracing the nature that is already on there.
Mahnala environmental school is located in a rural setting in central Finland a few kilometers north of the city of Tampere. Currently the school is housed in an old building dating from 1903. This building is highly representative of the Finnish vernacular school- house of the time. As such it is an iconic symbol of the long-standing tradition of educational facilities on the site. The old building, however, has been undersized to house the activities of the growing municipality for years already.

At the age of 28 and 29 years, the two partners won their first public contract for the expansion of Marie Curie kindergarten in Oullins (Rhône, France). The city of Tartu has the goal of implementing high-quality modern architecture in new public buildings. The new kindergarten, which is located in one of the most dilapidated areas of Tartu (the so-callled Chinatown is a former Soviet military garrison), is a result of this policy. The kindergarten´s layout – a six-cornered, star-shaped floor plan forced into a square – arose from the desire to avoid long corridors and to create an orderly outer perimeter and street space for the building. Building is situated on one edge of the plot and leaves the southern side free as a play area.
