MADU is a small museum for a collection of Art, Design and Urbanism. Like it’s content the building becomes an object by itself. Based on a deformed sphere, the shape is autonomous and will co-exist harmoniously with it’s surroundings. The content of the exhibition are in it’s majority small objects and require small rooms in specific groups. In order to have an integrated solution for program structure and circulation, a single wavy slab is disposed in an helicoidal way so it becomes stable without the need for columns or beams and allowing a diversity in circulation that makes a free fluid experience to it’s visitors.
The Chopin Muzeum is the result of an international competition for the ideation and realization of the new permanent exhibition design of the Museum. Held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture Bogdan Zdrojewski and National Heritage, the Italian firm Migliore+Servetto Architects studio won the permanent exhibition project in 2008, amongst 32 international firms.

In the grounds of Prague Castle, among various palaces currently reused to house the National Gallery, the brief was to design a small building that provides an entrance to the museum complex. Two parallel surfaces organize what used to be an empty space without weighing it down: one forms the floor, the other the roof.

TheGostaMuseumis placed in a very particular location, merged in an extremely fascinating natural environment. Starting from this character of the existing museum building and the future extension, we thought to design a building that could be at the same time respectful of nature and could be merged itself in the particular environment. We thought at the building as a built media connecting the works of art and the visitors to the panorama and the beauty of nature.
The Canadian Museum of Nature (CMN) was the first purpose built museum in the country. It is now recognized for the interdependence of its learning and research components and a collection that includes 10 million specimens gathered over 150 years. The original building – known as the Victoria Memorial Museum Building (VMMB) – was designed in the Beaux-Arts Style by David Ewart. Shortly after its completion in 1912, the stone tower began to sink into the ground. In 1915, the upper part of the tower was removed to de-load the structure, leaving the base as the main entrance vestibule but consequently diminishing the building’s original composition, and impacting the original clarity of the Beaux Arts plan.
A ceremony has been held today, attended by German Culture Minister, Mrs Wanka; the Mayor of Munich, Mr Ude; Lord Foster and Dr Helmut Friedl, Director of the Lenbachhaus Museum, to mark the completion of a major project to transform the experience for visitors.

A simple and clear journey through different scenarios for unique and emotional experience inside the new Pan Tadeusz Museum in Wrocław/Poland.The poem as a fil rouge through the entire exposition that connects different spaces, narrative figures that guide the visitor across the story and central elements that allows the knowledge sharing for individuals and groups.
The intent of the new Museum & Educational Centre (MEC) is to be a meaningful building beyond its iconic form. Through both an internal and external architectural expression of flexibility, it recognizes that architecture shapes behavior. In that regard, the new MEC is about connecting with people, while opening up the world of science, technology, innovation and Russia’s extraordinary achievements in these domains. As technology develops and we enter deeper into the 21st century, the convergence of Science and Art becomes even more relevant in our everyday interactions. Today’s society seeks ways that Science and Mathematics can be viewed as approachable disciplines, in order to understand the full potential of technology, and its applications in making our world a better place. The new MEC will be a gateway to this world, challenging and evolving visitors’ perception of science and technology.
Software used: Rhino is the primary software for designing this project. In addition architects used Grasshopper which allows generative/parametric 3D-models for Rhino. During the sketch phase Autodesk 3ds Max was also used.
HAO and AI, along with three other teams, have been invited to participate in the National Maritime Museum competition, situated outside the city of Tianjin in Northern China. The proposal for the new National Maritime Museum is situated in Northern China, outside the city of Tianjin. The museum is designed to house both new and old maritime items with a focus on celebrating the historical achievements of Chinese naval exploration through out time.
