The project was developed in 7400 m2 comprising of two levels and the basement of an already existing structure, our proposal was centered around the remodelling and refunctionalization of the different spaces of the future concessionary; accepting the challenge of, through wise design and election of materials, reflecting the spirit of Toyota's brand.
Concept
The essence of the project defines its spaces by means of guiding axis, a great wall coated in ACM. The lights' apertures in the ceiling, together with the lines of light of the wall, both bring dynamism and create tension in the space, marking the road to the brand's future goals.
Steven Holl Architects has been commissioned to design a new 28,000 m² hybrid building of offices and retail for CIFI Group in Beijing. The mixed-use complex will be Steven Holl Architects’ second building in Beijing.
The design for the hybrid building is based on five central points:

Leading architecture and urban design studio, dhk, has unveiled its design for the head office of one of the largest banks in South Africa, Capitec Bank. The business currently operates from multiple buildings in scattered locations in Technopark, Stellenbosch (South Africa) and has therefore decided to consolidate its offices into one building in the same business park. The office is custom-designed and considers Capitec’s current occupancy and planned growth thus increasing operational efficiencies.
Located on a prominent site in Kuwait City, the 300-metre-high headquarters tower for the National Bank of Kuwait will have a distinctive presence among the high-rise buildings of Sharq, the city’s growing financial district. The design combines structural innovation with a highly efficient passive form, shielding the offices from the extremes of Kuwait’s climate, where temperatures average 40 degrees in the summer months.
The headquarter of Woo is located in Tianjin, with a floor height of 3.5 meters and an area of about 3,000 square meters. The nature of this project is the renovation of the existing building, which was a commercial hotel built in the late 1990s. Its formal business operation mode and architectural form have been in conflict with the pattern of urban change, which in needs of new adapted functions.
Hosted within the historical Ampire Building, the Christie’s headquarters in China, bears the aesthetic touch of the architectural firm Vudafieri – Saverino Partners. Constructed in colonial style by British architects at the start of the 1900s, the building is situated in the exclusive Yuanmingyuan Road pedestrian area, in the Bund, Shanghai’s oldest and most elegant quarter, from which it is possible to admire a magnificent view of the Chinese metropolitan’s futuristic skyline.
Eskema designed the new offices for Solcargo, a young law firm who wanted to reinvent their image. The challenge in this project consisted in getting 43 individual offices into 1,050m2. They wanted all the individual offices to have natural lighting and at least a partial view of the outside.
DEGW has created a mix of “100% made-in-Italy” interior spaces for Microsoft inside Herzog & de Meuron’s iconic building, all designed in accordance with the firm’s corporate values: openness, visibility, flexibility, energy, dynamism and innovation.
DEGW’s project is part of a process Microsoft Italia has been undertaking for years in the name of a “New World of Work”, an approach to the dynamics of work that involves greater staff flexibility in terms of smart working and the use of functional and technologically innovative spaces to maximise cooperation. Well-being and the reconciling of personal and professional requirements are the linchpin around which time management and this new way of working revolve, making flexibility an important means of hitting targets.
The Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) traded its Westmount offices for a building that is better suited to their needs in Montréal’s Angus Technopôle. The architectural firm Lemay aimed for a design that is completely suited to the OIIQ’s activities, values and contribution to the health sector. This project, with its innovative building materials, follows the principles of sustainable development.

The new head offices for the world’s largest hotel search engine trivago is starting to take shape in Dusseldorf’s Media Harbour. In order to create a headquarters that could easily cater to an international team of over 60 nationalities, sop architekten designed a global campus to provide the best experience possible for some 2,000 employees.
Comprising two new structures and a large open space, the site lies exposed at the foot of Hafenbecken A (Dock A) on Kesselstrasse. The organically shaped buildings open invitingly to the water and perform a playful, yet balancing role at the intersection of numerous urban lines and edges.
