‘Salon Guui’ seeks a new possibility of refurbishment for an 80’s popular residential building type in Korea. The old building is 3 stories; semi-basement, uplifted 1st floor and the 2nd floor which has independent accesses representing spatial features of the 80’s building. It used to hold 5 residential units: 2 units for semi-basement, 1 for the 1st and 2 for the 2nd floor. The refurnished holds an office in semi basement and the 1st floor, and a single family residential for the owner of the office in the 2nd floor. The main working space of the office is placed in the semi basement. The 1st floor connected through cut-out slab from the semi-basement provides with multi-purposes, as a place of conference, exhibition for a guest, a space of rest and a theater for both office staffs and residents. Placed in between office at the semi-basement and residential at the second level, this uplifted 1st floor works as a ‘salon’ in the whole building.
ABSA Center of distribution is part of the electric Mexican company ABSA’s new headquarters, which includes a Storage Building, Sales Building, and a future Executive Sales Building to be built in 2020. CEDIS was built in the industrial zone in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
The materials used in the project are cement blocks, black steel, concrete and crystal. All together, give an industrial sensation that contrasts with the wooden furniture and the warm light from the sun, and produces a tranquil and harmonic environment ideal for the workers.
ABSIII is the third time our office was asked to design an interior for Absoluut, an advertising agency based in Louvain. This project was conceived i.c.w. architect Tom Huycke. The space is located in the Remy tower, a former factory in Wijgmaal.
The office is situated on the 5th floor. It is made up of two entities: a lounge area adjacent to a bar and the reception desk which acts as an informal workspace, and the actual office with different spaces according to the different needs.
Located at VOM Office Park in Shanghai, among the same ordinary modernistic “cubes”, the office of Focus Advertising Agency can be recognized at first sight due to its graceful installation expanding from the entrance.
The page-like structure made by pure white waved steel plates creates rhythmically changing curves in the sunlight. Just like the prelude in a piece of music, it invites the audience to hear more about its mysterious story.

The project is located in the Singapore Science Park in Xiasha district of Hangzhou, China with a standard floor area of 1200 sqm, which is the new office of LANDER electric gaming cultural company. This is the work of Architect LI Wenxi when he study as a Ph.D. candidate in Waseda University, Japan.
Question
The surface is long strip-shaped, how to create the space with four consecutive styles of waiting, communication, having rests and working but totally different atmosphere from the space with width of 25 meters and length of 50 meters becomes the first problem when beginning to design.
The Bridge embodies a design solution responding to the context of the spatial and socio-economic landscape of urban Vietnam. Housing the teams of the several luxury brands that make up the OpenAsia Group, typologically located between warehouse and logistic service buildings, the structure will stand enigmatically in the middle of Old Hanoi.
The proposal envisioned the office building as a series of platforms lifted by two cores of concrete; one containing the circulation paths and main services, the second being the support for all documentation so called “the memory wall”. In-between can be found an open space, free of any columns, open widely on both sides to large windows creating.
The new €37.5m (£27.6m) Transfer Terminal at Arnhem Central Station in the Netherlands has now completed.
The station is the result of an ambitious 20-year project – masterplanned by UNStudio – to redevelop the wider station area; the largest post-war development in Arnhem. Backed by the Dutch government, this transfer hub rewrites the rulebook on train stations and is the most complex of its type in Europe. The station will become the new ‘front door’ of the city, embracing the spirit of travel, and is expected to establish Arnhem as an important node between Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The new terminal houses commercial areas, and a conference centre and provides links to the nearby office plaza, city centre, underground parking garage and the Park Sonsbeek. The area around the station will become a place in of itself, with 160,000m2 of offices, shops and a cinema complex.
The project was commissioned by Kaihua County Urban Construction and Development Co., Ltd. to design a comprehensive office building with three functional requirements: the Urban Archives and the Civil Defense Command Center and the Housing and Construction Bureau at the entrance of the scenic spot. The project has a superior geographical position. The south side is a multi-storey terrace house. The north side is a low-lying mountain with abundant vegetation. The valley on the east side is quiet and far-reaching. The west side is just a few steps away from the bank of Qinjiang River. The mountain can be seen from afar. Like description of Tao Yuanming's “Peach Blossom Spring”, a large-scale multi-functional building with open access functions and private concealed works is constructed between the general green mountains and green waters that fully respected the original buildings which is the challenge of this project.
The project for the FACOL industrial building started with the rehabilitation of an abandoned and obsolete pavilion, providing it with the proper work conditions for a textile dyeing facility. The second phase of the project consisted in the addition of a new volume to the already existent factory, creating a new building where all the administrative functions would take place.
The new office building was implanted on the south face of the existent volume, detached from it and separated by a vertical garden, which isolates any disturbance noise prevenient from the factory facilities.
CHROFI has converted a nondescript 1980’s commercial building into a thriving mixed-use development comprised of five, three-bedroom, loft apartments sitting above ground floor commercial premises.
The existing building presented an overly wide street address that was incongruent with the scale of the rest of the street. The setback of the existing building from the road also created a poorly defined and out of scale pedestrian experience, preventing the building from meaningfully contributing to the life of the street and the nearby ‘five ways’ intersection.
