The Palace of Music is located in the first square of the historic center of the city of Merida Yucatan, behind the Church of the Third Order or Church of Jesus, which belonged from the seventeenth century to the congregation of the Jesuit brothers.
The building houses; in a basement the museum of Mexican music, at street level a square that is integrated into the public space, on the upper floors a concert hall and the whole collection of Mexican music history.
Built by a Genoese pirate in the sixteenth century, this palace located in the old town of Palma de Mallorca, was partially burned during an intentional fire: the idea was to scare away its rustic owner – an Italian corsair, considered persona non grata in the city of Palma-.
It was completely redesigned with the aim of reflecting Sapey’s personality, a space tailored to her tastes without having to follow the restrictions that she normally face with her clients. One of the daring things was to paint the walls with strong colors, which in a 16th century building was quite daring. It was the perfect moment to express the creative and artist soul of the architect, who since childhood dreamed of being an artist. Until this moment, she had never been encouraged to express her most pictorial and vivid side that in this space does not fall in the architectural expression but in the use of color. It is a praise to the magical island of Mallorca and its Mediterranean colors: the acid yellow of lemons or the warmest of the sun. The blues, not only of the sea, but also of the sky. The green color is also present, an attempt to create a kind of greenhouse with Romanesque windows in the background. It was clear from the beginning that the traditional elements of the palazzo would be maintained, its high ceilings, wooden floors and large windows.
The proposal contemplates the refurbishment of the basement spaces of the Palacio del Rey don Pedro with the aim of welcoming in the near future a selection of pieces of different types belonging to the archaeological collection of the Alcázar, the result of the research carried out in the last years.
The construction of the Mudéjar Palace supposes the destruction of previous Almohad buildings, including the southern wall of the complex that, partially dismantled, serves as a containment to the ground levels. On this front, the building exceeds the limits of the Islamic precinct and saves through a basal body the variable unevenness existing with the old orchards and corrals -current gardens- located outside the walls, constructing the sequence of vaulted spaces that are the object of the present action.
There are no words to define the concept of Nirvana, a mental state with effects in the physical and spiritual planes. This makes it difficult to explain and only those who practice meditation can understand how far they are from reaching it.
The new Palace of Justice in Córdoba is located in Arroyo del Moro which is characteristically dominated by anonymous housing blocks, products of the rapid urban development of 21st century Spanish cities. The blocks that characterize the urban fabric of the zone were not capable of generating public space or offering something new to the city, but collectively they form a compact and coherent urban identity. The addition of a public institution to the area creates the opportunity to upgrade the public realm and add a civic quality to this relatively new neighborhood.
The complex history of the project and construction of the Palace of Queluz resulted in a present conformation that, on one hand, doesn’t reflect the original intent of its design nor, on the other hand, provides the architectural ensemble the opportunity of an urban experience that dignifies and values it.
Built in 1881, in Vermoim – Vila Nova de Famalicão, the Igreja Velha Palace was for many decades the mansion of an important farm, baroque style with two castellated towers and an attached chapel, the neo-gothic style S. Francisco de Assis chapel.
With the introduction of many additions and volumetries that deprived the complex of its features, this project came across many challenges regarding the constructive and functional aspects.

Its pre-existence allows dazzling a House classified by the Oporto City Hall, a garden and a vegetable garden. The house was converted into two apartments keeping its original features; the principal garden remained, in the vegetable garden two houses were built. The common garage relates all the elements to each other.
