The new Park of Caspar Wittelplantsoen in Amersfoort connects the new building of the Soesterkwartier along Puntenburgerlaan with the existing buildings and acts as a green meeting place for both old and new residents. The ambition is, on a relatively small area, to create an abundance of green. This is achieved by placing a large amount of new trees and grassy plains as the basis for the establishment of the park.
Is the first detailed design of the Ruggeveld master plan. The planning area covers 6.5 hectares and is located south of the E313 highway. The program includes park design (the blueprint for the “green seams” throughout the entire master plan, landscape design (a qualitative improvement of de Koude Beek Valley), 172 community gardens and a reservation of about 30 additional gardens and a parking for about 50 cars.
These ten houses are part of a master plan for 500 dwellings and a park by the Architecten Cie, called ‘Het Funen, Hidden Delights’. The triangular site is located between the historic center and the recently redeveloped harbor area in the east of Amsterdam, a former parking lot for towed cars. Along the east and the south side a ‘wall’ containing over 300 apartments and office spaces shields the site from the noise of the adjacent railroad. Inside this semi open block a loose grid is set up, containing 16 smaller housing blocks positioned in a park. These ‘Hidden Delights’ vary in height from 9 to 18 meters. A shift from the public to the private has taken place. The urban plan including the park is initiated and commissioned -traditionally operations directed by the City- and developed and build by one single company, IBC Vastgoed. The maintenance of the park will be handled by a private firm, not by the city, but the park will remain publicly accessible. There are three almost square blocks that measure 30.5 by 27.7 meters and should contain 2.5 stories. It was obligatory to build the first two stories in alignment; the third should be 50% building and 50% roof terrace/garden. In our block the volume is distributed evenly over the ten houses; each is allocated 633 cubic meters. The houses are organized according to a typology known as back to back housing. They will be accessed from an aisle in the middle of the block. This “mini-canyon” rids the facades of the obligatory storage spaces and technical facilities that formally have to be accessible from the public domain.

1 NATURE GATEWAY seeks to identify Sokolniki as the Gateway for Nature into the city of Moscow and as a way for people to enter nature by linking the Elk’s island natural reserve through Sokolniki’s ecological corridor.
Grorudparken (Grorud Park) is one of four new neighbourhood parks in Groruddalen. The park introduces facilities for athletics, play, recreation, youth programmes, social interaction, and cultural activities for the diverse local population. LINK Landskap was the project Landscape Architect, under commission from Oslo Municipality’s Department of Water and Sewage. However, several other municipal departments were also involved in the project – The Department of Recreation, The Planning Office, The Office of Cultural Heritage Management, and the District of Grorud. Planning and design work for the park began in the autumn of 2009, based on recommendations contained within the Development Control Plan for Alna Reserve (KDP Alna Miljøpark).
Park Sokolniki is Moscow’s biggest and most visited park, counting 520 hectares. It was planted under the rule of Peter the Great and has evolved into an urbancity forest, comparable to Tiergarten in Berlin and Bois de Boulogne in Paris, with an intensive park program.
What happens when the artificial mixes with forces of nature; what if urban punks found themselves surfing in open sea or riding waves of magma?
The project for the Alingsås skate arena is a 12 minutes light show were we integrated the floor washing light of a sequence of about 20 Philips LED colour blast with the special projected effects of 4 Martin Moving Heads. Visual effects were highlight by two big Traxon mesh screen fixed on two opposite towers. The rhythm of the show, based on natural sounds, move the light from quiet, to shocking effects, moving light levels from daylight to darkness.
Arena Teques purpose is to promote tourism, culture and sports in Morelos, Mexico.
In a 10 hectares area, a linear park is proposed to promote recycling and a sustainability culture. Prefabricated elements generate a multifunctional platform, favoring versatility with their module arrangement and quick installation, creating spaces where fairs, festivals, sports and cultural activities can be carried out.

The design strategies developed for the site build on the significant natural attributes of the immediate context while addressing several significant problems and missed opportunities that existed within the park. The following design initiatives were developed to address these issues:
Asymptote ( Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture ) has been commissioned to design a new cultural project on the outskirts of the Tuscan hill town of Peccioli Italy. Peccioli is a pre-renaissance hill town in the Province of Pisa, located about 50 kilometers southwest of Florence. The ‘Parco DegliAngeli’ (Park of Angels) Master Plan and architectural works by Asymptote include a collection of new buildings and parkland, a large covered 800-seat amphitheater and various interactive sculptural features.
