The desire to reproduce the space of a forest, or of a group of bamboos on a layer of water, has formed the subconscious basis of the project. On the one hand there is the creation of a… building mechanism? able to generate extraordinary possibilities from the point of view of energy logic and environmental awareness, an essential and symbolic aspect for the future Spanish Pavilion at the International Exposition of Zaragoza. But on the other hand, and this is very important, one of the most attractive spaces one may encounter, both in terms of matter and light, is transferred to the field of architecture. Changing spaces, full of hints and nuances, in which concepts such as verticality and depth play an essential role.
The main concept of the pavillion is to create two different spaces. One for the exhibition and another one for a big greenhouse. They are connected to allow people to walk in a unique single space. The greenhouse is the place where people can pick up and eat food directly from the hortus.
The cola-bow is a public art installation made out of more than 17.000 recycled plastic bottles, which were braided to create a shape inspired by the swings of the Coca-Cola logo.
More than 17.000 bottles were collected by a joint initiative of universities around Beijing and Coca-Cola China to give citizens a bottle of Coke for every 10 empty ones brought back to a recycling spot. The amount of collected plastic bottles ended up in an entrance conopy to the 2nd universal university creation expo.
It is easy to build a new urban which is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and airy. However, it is not easy to create the spirit-inspiring place, especially in Vietnam where new urban are currently blooming, rather like each other and duplicate a lot of French classical architecture.
The new Lemur exhibit at the Melbourne Zoo, a project undertaken in collaboration with Urban Initiatives (Landscape Architects) and Arterial Design (Interpretive Designers), is an example of Architecture contributing to the delivery of a contemporary Zoo experience. The existing Rainforest Trail now has a high impact entry exhibit, where visitors and Lemurs interact in an up close and personal environment.
The Transmutation Pavilion is a design proposal for a large, solar powered, interactive, public, functional art structure. The structure consists of three interlocking cylindrical forms, supported by four horizontal planes, which in turn are supported by eight vertical columns. Each of the cylindrical forms are different sizes, and are woven together one inside of the other, in different directions. Each of the cylindrical forms is fitted with two large, overlapping, sliding curved panels.

To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the city of Karlsruhe in 2015, a temporary event pavilion will be erected in the city’s Schlosspark. During the festival summer, various concerts, theater performances, readings, film screenings, and exhibitions will be held in the open structure.
The Sun Shadow Pavilion is a design proposal for a large solar powered exhibition space. On June 3rd, 2011 at 9:00 AM central standard time, the sun shone down on a scale model of a large square array of photovoltaic solar panels mounted above a flat white surface facing south. The shadow cast on the flat white surface formed by the solar panels was traced every hour for 8 hours as the sun moved across the sky.
Mo i Rana has always had a primarily functional relationship to the fjord, which has been one of two major transport systems serving the local industries of iron- and concrete production, the other being the railway. The town is located far inland and the fjord has always served as a main connection with the rest of the world. The railway has served as the other main pulse connecting the town to the east and south, in addition to the two main roads E6 and E12. The railway track runs straight through the centre of the town and acts as a physical barrier between the town proper and the fjord, only surmounted by bridges or underground tunnels. This prevents the establishment of a physical and programmatic continuity linking the two.
Overview Overlooking the scenic Accabonac Creek, our challenge was to renovate and add a pavilion to a recently built residence. In dialogue with the client, a program was developed to extend the residence to include a new indoor spa and art studio and to add a new Pool Pavilion facing the serene waterfront.
