Casa Mariposa in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle, Mexico by arqflores / architect Juan Carlos Flores

Thursday, April 14th, 2016

Article source: arqflores / architect Juan Carlos Flores

This is when I began playing with this new language of architecture.  The client requested organic forms for their oceanfront home on the Pacific Coast of Mexico.

These shapes are caressed by the sea air as the sun gently travels its curves.

Casa tag in Bergamo, Italy by dep studio

Friday, April 8th, 2016

Article source: dep studio

The building is located in the historical center of a small town, in a densely built-up area that does not offer particularly fine views towards around. The property, donated to a young boy by his grandmother, had been subjected in the past to a major restructuring but presented some critical issues that compromised the use and that had to be resolved with radical interventions. First of all the lack of light in the interior.

Friday, March 18th, 2016

Article source: Wunschhaus

This 230m2 private house was designed as a residence in the surroundings of Vienna to create holiday feeling 12 month of the year. The 2 storey building provides an astonishing view of the vineyards, presenting the viewers a colourful play throughout the 4 seasons. While the first floor solely acts as a functional area, comprising of the garage, storage rooms and a functional kitchen to serve food at the pool, the second floor opens up as a spacious living and sleeping area. The terrace in the second floor with the glass ceiling is the perfect spot to follow the sunrise and enjoy breakfast. The surrounding garden forms an ideal interface between the modern building and the surrounding nature.

Wednesday, January 20th, 2016

Article source: B.U.S Architecture

As rapid industrialization and urbanization made people flock in the cities, housing spaces have developed by focusing on quantity rather than quality. In this background, most citizens are used to saying that “My dream is to go down to the quiet countryside and live there by building a house if I earn money.”

Friday, November 20th, 2015

Article source: Lagula Arquitectes

Z-Balca House reconsiders some of Lagula’s formal and material premises previously used in PGAC. The origin of such questioning comes from the PGAC management itself, who was interested in a non-conventional building, and interested in the use of dry construction technologies.
