The Chongqing delegation to the National People’s Congress suggested that the city of Chongqing be the start of the Silk Road economic belt and the hub of a 21st century maritime Silk Road, connecting the Chinese interior with the rest of the world.
Chongqing is at the upper and middle reaches of the Yangtze River, which connects to the maritime Silk Road.
It is the only municipal city in the mid west region, and also the national central city, connecting the Yangtze River economic belt and the “Silk Road” economic belt.

The MIST Hot Spring Resort is located in Xuchang prefecture, 100 km. from Zhengzhou, a capital of China’s Henan province. This region of China has been considered the nation’s most famous hot spring destination for over a thousand year since the Tang Dynasty era. During the four months of winter, people from all over China visit its abundant hot springs. The MIST aims to be a new landmark of Henan that will attract both domestic and international travelers to the province all year round.
The Creek Park Hotel is located in Beijing’s Pinggu District, 15km away from the Jinhai Lake International Resort’s Area. It is a renovation project undertaken by SYN Architects, close to the waters surrounding the peninsula’s central island, from where the minaret by the lake at the center of the scenic area can be admired. Formerly an abandoned resort estate, the project has been expanded and rebuilt into a high-end luxury destination encompassed by sublime natural scenery.
The concept was born with the intention of offering guests a space full of luxury and comfort, that provides a true escape from everyday life, with the main objective to disconnect and enjoy the wide range of services oriented mainly to personal relaxation and Leisure, which coexist.
Tulum is a city in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, situated in the southernmost part of the Riviera Maya, one of the main international tourist destinations. It is located next to archaeological ruins of the Mayan city of Tulum, from which it receives its name.
Agde, an ancient town founded by the Greeks, is now renowned as a mass summer tourism destination on the Mediterranean coast. Its wide range of accommodation options means it has become one of Europe’s foremost tourist resorts. This new hotel and holiday home development will extend southwards at the extreme end of the Agde shoreline, in an area that is still relatively undeveloped and where individual housing districts predominate.
The plan for the new Faloria Mountain Spa Resort, historical glamorous hotel based in Cortina, has finally been unveiled. The project, signed by the architect Flaviano Capriotti, upgrades the resort to the highest hospitality standards, achieving the fifth star and presenting a new hospitality model: at crossroads between local tradition, innovation and comfort.
The opening is scheduled for December 2018, just in time for the start of the skiing season and for the Christmas holidays. The project comprises not only the aesthetic and functional refurbishment of the existing building, but also a generous expansion, through the construction of a brand new central body, which recall the typical style of the Dolomites.
In this project Flaviano Capriotti has developed an aesthetical language harmonized with the surrounding landscape, revisiting it with a contemporary touch.

“Stretching fifty li at length, a half of Chuanyuan is covered with bamboos.” As a county of Huzhou in Zhejiang province, Anji is known as “the Largest Bamboo Town in China”. Choosing Anji as its site has well interpreted Banyan Tree Hotel’s “Close to Nature & Blend in Culture” branding philosophy. As one of the soft furnishing teams, YANG draws inspirations from local bamboo and tea culture, creating peculiar temperament and spirit for Banyan Tree Anji that sets in line with the brand’s characteristics and the reticent space.
In the Venetian lagoon, an artificial island has been transformed into a luxury resort and park. The island, built in 1860 is a state-protected landscape and has about twenty early-twentieth-century buildings, including a hospital and service buildings. The project’s complexity was managed through a shift in scale from the macro (masterplan) to the micro (details) by Matteo Thun + Partners.
Meijie Mountain Hotspring Resort is located in Liyang, China. The resort hides itself in the city’s most beautiful Longtan Forest, which is lying between Tianmu Lake and Nanshan Bamboo. AchterboschZantman is the winner of the WAN-Awards 2017 for the Meijie Mountain Hotspring Resort project in Liyang China. The WAN jury said this design is the Benchmarking for Sustainable designs.
Wanli district is known as “the backyard of Nanchang” and the birthplace of Chinese classical rhythm. The nearby 15,000-hectare Meiling National Forest Park makes the site of the project a gigantic natural oxygen bar. From the marvelous and mysterious nature, YANG draws design inspirations, and creates a 40,000 square meters eco-resort with local cultural aesthetics for business travelers.
As an ancient Chinese poem goes, “Willows get green again when spring rain falls at the bridge”. Spring rain provides for every thirsty beings, and thus manifests the beginning of lives. Looking from afar, the smoke-like spring rain creates a ethereal aura that resembles the fairyland. Inspired by this beautiful scenery, YANG uses scattered full-height white screens to introduce transparency and mysteriousness into the lobby, making the prelude of the hotel a lasting song of refreshed lives singing by the rain, in which every coming guest enjoys its natural and comforting ambiance.
