The innovative retail interior design with circle shelves, is called “retail O”. The proposal shows the new concept of display. The stacking circle shelves are layered in entire interior space. Therefore, the overlayed circle view is shown from the front facade. Every circle size is defined by different size products from shoes, bags, small accessories to mannequins and even shopping customers!
This is the new way of display system. This is the proposal for the Italian fashion company, Benetton and the site is Omsk, Russia.
Dutch firm Shift A+U is the winner of a first prize, two second prizes and a third prize in the competition for an eco retail development, the Groene Kamer, in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
The aim of the development is to create a new type of country estate where eco-retail, nature and recreation are brought together in an innovative way. A place where city and countryside meet, both physically and programmatically.
This project consists of two large retail outlets, a Praxis Megastore (DIY chain store) and a Budgetcenter (Mall with several budget-stores) located in a new developed business park in the city of Enschede, the Netherlands.

The Mini Mall consists of 2500 sq. m. of retail and catering space for entrepreneurs, artists, designers and other creative minds, who will breathe new life into this unique area as from spring 2011. The development of the Hofplein Station into a compact shopping mall comes in response to a lack of affordable locations in Rotterdam where fresh new initiatives can see the light of day, but also with the aim to give the neighborhood quality boost.

Located on a 258,720 sf site along the north bank of Jang-Ji stream, Garden 5 Tool (originally called Dongnam Distribution Center) is a creative and unique solution for a mega-shopping center of specialty shops. To consolidate a large number of industrial goods retailers that are currently scattered in the central city of Seoul, the 2,893,440 sf commercial center houses approximately 1,500 shops. A supplementary facility, containing a fitness center, food court, office and officetel components, is also part of the program.

The complex for Riverstone is located in the commercial and retail “heart” of New Songdo City. The complex consists of several mixed-use functions, including a shopping mall, department store, Hypermart Cinema, ice rink, food court and two pedestrian bridges. SDL is working with Gale International Korea on this project.
The Fiera Milano project is located in the heart of Milan, spanning 106 acres on the old fairgrounds of this historic city. The scheme of Fiera Milano incorporates residential and office development, retail space and a museum all built around a central park, a much needed open space within the city. In 2004 Studio Daniel Libeskind along with Zaha Hadid Architects, and Arata Isozaki & Associates won the commission for the development of the site. In addition to leading the master plan, SDL is designing the contemporary art museum, the central office tower, a residential tower, and the first housing parcel.
BLUE ROOM is an installation proposal that translates and complement the brand’s juxtaposition of soft silhouette and architectural lines in their work into the scale of the retail environment. We began with an idea about the insertion of a translucent lining that would contrast with the rectilinear envelope of the existing space and act as an atmospheric veil to separate and define areas for the display of merchandise.
Studio Daniel Libeskind’s design study was selected in February 2003 as the master site plan for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center Site. In addition to a towering spire of 1776 feet, the plan proposed a complex program which called for the construction of a memorial with waterfalls, an underground museum, a visitor center, retail space, a special transit hub and four office towers spiraling to the height of the Freedom Tower.
3Beirut – the first project designed by Foster + Partners to break ground in Lebanon – is revealed today. Responding directly to the site and culture of Beirut, the scheme will create a sustainable residential and retail development of international quality. The development will also strengthen Beirut’s role as a centre for tourism, commerce, retail and entertainment while providing new green spaces at ground level for the city to enjoy.
