SCFashion (Fashion Retail) in Shenyang, China by OOBIQ Architects

Friday, March 30th, 2012

Article source: OOBIQ Architects

OOBIQ Architects tried to artistically interpret women’s most distinctive qualities in its recent interior design project – SCFASHION.

SCFASHION store has been open for a few days.

The fashion always remains dynamic. The designers practiced the broadest extension of artistic creativity, making this boutique into a fashion set. The sight of the special object, which looks like a diamond as well as a camera, awakens the feminine heart, brings back memories of a noble life and creates a dramatic, dynamic scenario where a beautiful woman is happily posing for photographs.

A design for a new office and retail destination that aims to provide a strong visual identity close to Hongqiao Transportation Hub near Shanghai’s city centre and Hongqiao Airport .

Our proposal for the new Linkong SOHO building aims to provide a strong visual and programmatic identity which establishes a unique destination in its own right. Such identity consists of an exclusive programme mix consolidated in three different destinations – thematic “Courtyards” – representing distinct clusters of activities, and an exceptional architecture that moulds such a programme into a landmark. The building’s dynamic, curvilinear form continues through its internal spatial experiences, dramatic courtyards and flowing public spaces.

Riverside Museum in Glasgow, Scotland by Zaha Hadid Architects

More projects by Zaha Hadid

The historical development of the Clyde and the city is a unique legacy; with the site situated where the Kelvin flows into the Clyde the building can flow from the city to the river. In doing so it can symbolise a dynamic relationship where the museum is the voice of both, linking the two sides and allowing the museum to be the transition from one to the other. By doing so the museum places itself in the very context of its origin and encourages connectivity between its exhibits and their wider context.
