The Arbor in Moscow, Russia by Kerimov + Prishin Architects

The arbor is designed to accommodate a family of 15 persons.

The arbor’ floor has 3 distinct zones which the architects call “kitchen-furnace”, “dining room-drawing room” and “terrace-scene”.

A Room Over the Sea in Molo Nord, Italy by Studio Zero85 (designed using Vectorworks)

Renovation of the “trabocco” above a port canal in Pescara
The trabocco is an old “fishing machine” typical of the Adriatic coast. These construction consist of a platform set on pilots above the sea. Horizontally is fixed by long poles or antennas, carring a large fishing net stem out from the platform.

A Room for London in UK by Living Architecture and Artangel

David Kohn Architects and artist Fiona Banner have been selected to design A Room for London, a temporary installation that will sit on top of the Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank Centre, London and be part of the London 2012 Festival.
