‘Magis’ had etched its way into their clients’ hearts as a popular women’s wear brand in South India for the last 13 years and when it came to hosting their own products, with their flagship store in Thrissur, the owners had wanted the space to reflect the qualities, of their products, that had made them famous. ‘The store between the lines’, as it’s fondly called, was the result of this dream.

The trade complex born in a privileged and strategical region for the economic development of the city. The office had the responsibility to design a building that stands out in middle of the built-up landscape of the local.
Due to the client’s need, the dimensions of the land and the floor area ratio of the region be small, the project strategy was to design a building with simple shapes and superimposed solidvolumes.
Petite Pomme is a clothing and shoes retail’s child store located in the centre of a small town, which also aims to boost local trade through careful design and by adding value to the shopping experience.
The brand image intends to move away from the historical style of the building. Therefore walls and ceiling blur boundaries to create an unlinked proposal from its shell.
At the entrance, a backlit polycarbonate wall contrasts sharply with the granite facade, generating a rift between exterior and interior and also providing guidance for the customer.
This showroom has been required by a smart home control company. Per our client requirement, the showroom is structured as a residential project. The purpose was to organize this project as a real apartment in order to use the space not only to implement the smart home control system, but also to create many corners as possible to host the clients. The general feeling had to be relaxing as it would be in a house, still communication a professional sensation.
The space feature a cinema room a living room, a bar area, a bedroom with a small living corner. In addition to this an office area with a private meeting room, and a pantry area.
Developed for the Tyrolean crystal manufacturer, the Swarovski Manufaktur is a progressive crystal workshop perfectly suited for creative co-creation, rapid prototyping and representation. The structure cleverly merges design, product development and production into one single facility. The new building houses digital experimentation rooms for designers, an Experience room with a large curved, 180°-screen, and meeting rooms that can be reserved for project consultations or other meetings. “The renewed site will act as a facilitator for creative people who want to work with us to move the construction sector forward sustainably,” said the directors.

“I wanted to create something that was familiar to Russian people but was also stylish and modern like in Europe. We have maintained some classic details, like industrial warehouse shelving and the 15×15 white matt tiles that were popular in soviet Moscow supermarkets.

Balance between massiveness and lightness
With a long history of several thousand years, Xi’an is endowed with cultural confidence and a poetic character. The project is situated at the college town, Chang’an District of Xi’an, an area that carries the locals’ memories of youth and humanistic sentiments. Considering that it was the last plot to be developed in VANKE TOWN, the client envisioned to create a unique “experience” demonstration zone through empathetic design.
