Enter WeWantMore and their cubed approach on a large footwear store located in Ghent, Belgium. 750 m2 to be exact. A size that turned out the be the challenge as well as the solution for the design of the new KevinShoes store. The Antwerp based design studio divided, colour bombed and conquered, turning a substantial retail space into a cohesive cluster of tailored footwear zones.

In the new space designed for tableware company Home Base, dining showroom and office coexist in a meld of contrasting brightness and darkness.
Home Base is a tabletop company that works with the world’s best hotels and restaurants in creating bespoke, uniquely designed ceramic tableware to enhance dining experiences. In 2019, it decided to relocate from a conventional office to a new space in Shanghai’s Xuhui district, and Quarta & Armando was given the task to make the most of the 320sqm, 8-meter-tall former industrial building, accommodate an ever-expanding team as well as create a memorable experience for visiting customers.
Bureau for Visual Communication and Interior Design has created a further state-of-the-art Porsche Studio in Seoul, South Korea. Porsche Studio Cheongdam opened in one of the most exclusive districts in the Asian metropolis on June 18. After Porsche auf Sylt in Germany, it is the second Porsche Studio to be designed under Designliga’s retail concept. In addition to further refining the concept, interior design and furnishing system, the creative agency is responsible for the visual identity and architectural realization of Porsche Studio Cheongdam.

The store is located in the newly completed K11 MUSEA. The huge business complex containing K11 MUSEA sits in Tsim Sha Tsui and is adjacent to the Victoria Habour, with Central standing on the other bank. The view of the prosperous metropolis well known across the globe for the past century has been interacting with the primitive but perpetual force from the sea.
This project had the challenge of converting an extension of the facilities (offices and showroom) of a manufacturer of designer furniture, into a rational space that respects the preexisting, a metaphor of its origins as a company, and that at the same time reflects its Young and dynamic spirit.
The new Sancal Headquarters is located in a new plant construction, symmetrical to the existing one.

The project arises from the need to duplicate the sq ft of the existing store, due to the exponential growth of the company. Nowadays, the 4000 sq ft are distributed in three floors: 1st is the main shop, workshop and patio; 2nd is the warehouse and product development area; 3rd is for main offices, meeting room, dining room and terrace.

The project’s objective was to propose a presentation space largely glazed and open to the outside, in a place of activities usually occupied by parallelepipedic and opaque buildings. De Bijenkorf is a luxury department store with seven branches in the Netherlands and part of the British Selfridges Group. i29 interior architects made the design for the new 3500 m2 menswear department on the first floor of the Amsterdam store. Previously i29 and De Bijenkorf worked together on Room on the Roof, an artist in residence in the tower on the Dam Square and the interior of ‘The Kitchen’, the restaurant of De Bijenkorf Utrecht.
The monumental building on the Dam square in the heart of Amsterdam is a national monument. For the major renovation that is going on for some years, the British firm HMKM made a new retail strategy and KAAN architects an architectural vision. The starting point was unveiling the original construction and opening up the façade for more daylight and the connection with the city.
