The new Kindergarten – Nová Ruda in Vratislavice nad Nisou – solves the need of the city district regarding its growing population, by providing educational spaces and a leisure area for children.
The plot is the property of the city and was chosen as most suitable for the new housing development planned in the immediate vicinity and the new kindergarten. The site itself is still undeveloped and the larger part of the land is defined as public greenery. In the immediate vicinity there is a historic building, a secondary art school, and several patches of family houses, which as a whole, form a rather rural context.
For the project of the Palacio de Hierro office building, innovation was the element that led to a natural break with the traditional schemes for offices. With the projection of this great company in mind, totally open areas were defined to achieve the integration of personnel at all levels, without forgetting the luxury and exclusivity that are the DNA of the image that characterizes this great Mexican company.

Perched atop a Bel Air hilltop, Orum is a three-level, 18,800-square-foot home designed to subtly “float” above its environs.
Given its prominent positioning above a relatively developed neighborhood, the motivation behind the design of the home was to create a residence that could meld into its surroundings while maximizing views. The three-story structure, which takes on the shape of a three-winged propeller, is wrapped in glass that mirrors its sweeping views of the Los Angeles Basin, unobstructed from the Getty Center to Long Beach, Century City, and Downtown.
Developed for the Tyrolean crystal manufacturer, the Swarovski Manufaktur is a progressive crystal workshop perfectly suited for creative co-creation, rapid prototyping and representation. The structure cleverly merges design, product development and production into one single facility. The new building type allows the company to develop innovative ways to align creative visionary processes with technical production requirements. “The Swarovski Manufaktur sets a new standard for inclusive fabrication facilities,” says Kjetil Trædal Thorsen, Founding Partner of Snøhetta, when summarizing the concept. “Bringing clients, designers, artists, researchers, machine operators, technicians and the public into one space under one roof is going to change how we think about these relationships in the future”.
In this project Estudio MMX takes a chance using the street as the key element to make the city. The building fosters, both physical and visually, the connection between the interior and exterior public space testing the possibility of a continuous area that inserts itself inside the apartment block.
The design accomplished that the space and free common areas were added and continuous among themselves, being these the principles that defined the volumes of the building. As a result of this the majority of the interior spaces have contact with the exterior and the street avoiding the enclosed interior apartments.
The Nett Winery, located in the Pfalz wine region of Germany, can be described as a light, modern, generous and representative building. Comprised of two long-stretched halls as well as a covered passage, it looks like a geometric ray ready to unfold across the landscape. Inside the building, the wine ripens on a vast space of nearly 4,500 m². Claiming the highest quality of wine production, the challenge was to design a completely new building that ambitiously combines the entire production as well as a shop, tasting room, storage, office and living spaces – and which meets the family’s expectations, too. In Architects Collective Christian Nett found a partner from Vienna that could implement his vision of an efficient, ecological and ambitious plan to create a winery of the future.
The project is located at the B2 Floor, Beijing Fun, Beijing Municipality, covering an area of 240 square meters. The client Teawith hopes to create a special fair space for the “New Craftsmen”, where the craftsmen can share their products and various lifestyles. From their points of view, pink is a kind of “free” color which has no labels, has nothing to do with age and is gender-neutral.
Based on this consideration, the architects divide the pink fair into two regions, the cloister-style exhibition area, nesting in center sharing area.
Situated in Marmari, Kos, in a setting surrounded by palms, Caravia Beach Junior Suites and Restaurant, is an extension to an existing hotel. The Suites and the restaurant are organically connected via a large outdoor pool and deck network, on the water.
The complex unfolds around a communal pool which underlines the 5 bungalows and the restaurant and connects with all the structured environment via a network of decks and platforms, creating channels that surround the individual spaces.
Space also has a narrative rhythm, and music is leading this rhythm. The exciting point of creation is the seventh symphony in A major. It is powerful and strikes the soul.
There are four parts to combine this space: the wall, the arch, the sloping house, and the long desk.
