Situated in the Leidsche Rijn, a newly built housing district within the periphery of Utrecht, the Sports Campus aims to contribute a public and rather iconographic aspect to the predominantly low-rise area, lacking points of recognition. Two schools, divided up into four wings, stretched out onto the boundaries of the terrain, are organized around a centrally positioned volume containing the shared facilities.
After a selection is MoederscheimMoonen Architects chosen as the design agency that provides for the new home of two football development in the Park Zestienhoven Rotterdam. Zestienhoven Park includes more than 1800 luxury homes located next to Rotterdam Airport and close to the existing park area within the new plan will be developed.
Opened in September 2011, this is the first link of a soccer-focused master plan developed by United Neighborhood Organization (UNO). The innovative design and school program take on a new and progressive approach to education.

The word “polilleuger” arises from a proposal to conduct a sports facility with the idea of sustainability and low maintenance. We must rethink the architecture, like so many other things in society. This was the idea of this equipment. Leveraging the existing soil. Give more use to the sports that schools use very few hours a day.
In 2006 we were asked to design the revitalization of a farmstead for congress, company presentation, holding of corporate events and leisure activities. For this purpose our client bought 19th century farmstead located at a large pound. The farmstead included a distillery with it’s chimney. From 1926 there have lived storks on the chimney. It became the main reason for buying this farm.

MAIN BUILDING AND EXTERIOR SPACES
Horse, display, prestige, arena, track, course, circuit, jumps, hillocks, slopes and mounds, terraces. Nature, forest, pine and birch, footpaths, walks across heathered heathland, plains, forest edge, clearings, grasses and wildflowers, banks, coppice.
Such is the vocabulary that inspires this project. Words relating to equestrianism, landscape, and this exceptional location at the heart of the forest of Fontainebleau.
Bilbao, Miribilla neighborhood, built on ancient iron mines adjacent to the old part of town. A very hilly solar (46 m from one corner to another, just 200m) in which the building was caught in the neighborhood park. Limestone rocks sticking out between the banks and trees in the park gave us the key to design and resolve the complex functional and circulation program: use of simultaneous game day sports use, use of court by the neighbors, access to players, officials, public premises for a possible lookout restaurant, sports center with a separate entrance but with access to track so that residents can use the court when there is no match, parking connected to both spaces, etc …

a sporting challenge
The academy training grounds of the junior teams of Austria Vienna – one of the most traditional football clubs in Austria – lies close to the ‘Franz Horr Stadium’. they include a training hall and three grass pitches. the construction budget was extremely tight and the construction time limited to six months, and the handover date after completion a strict requirement in order to obtain the license of the Austrian Football League. Vienna building regulations set a maximum building height of 4.5 m and so the 7,0 m required clearance height in the training hall created an inevitable consequence: the entire building had to be lowered half below ground.

Speedskating Stadium Inzell, Germany, designed by Projektarbeitsgemeinschaft Behnisch Architekten Pohl Architekten, has won the ‘World’s Best Sports Building’ award at the prestigious World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards 2011.
The presentation of the WAF Awards are taking place during the largest global celebration of architecture – the World Architecture Festival, which is being held at the Centre Convencions International Barcelona (CCIB) this week.
