It is indicative that this office is to some extent a return to the roots of cooperation of za bor architects and the largest Russian IT-corporation Yandex. The first office developed for Yandex by za bor architects is in the same building of the Benois business center in Saint Petersburg, but on a lower floor. In 2008 it was a brilliant premiere published by almost all the leading architecture and design media in Russia. The project has picked up many awards. Four years later za bor architects and Yandex had decided to repeat the success on a larger scale – Yandex Saint-Petersburg office II is almost twice as large as the previous one – it houses the entire fourth floor of the building and has a corridor about 200 meters long (total floor area 3310 sqm), but size doesn’t matter, clients wanted an «extraordinary office like no other»
This was a project in response to the ‘Concours d’idees Allplan’. The aim was to design the Pavilion of France for the Universal Exhibition in Milan in 2015, whose theme is defined as ‘feeding the planet, energy for life’.
This home was a design for my senior project in high school. The building is constructed out of ICF walls, and also has high walls and large windows at the top of these walls which can be opened to increase air flow throughout the home.
The bambooline berlin explores the cities urban development and proposes a new approach for the temporary, interim use of sustainable urban wasteland. A new, imaginary band complements the historically developed lines of the Berlin cityscape: the Berlin bambooline.
THIS IS AN APARTMENT FOR A YOUNG COUPLE WHO APPRECIATE ART. THE WALLS ARE DECORATED WITH DRAWINGS AND PHOTOGRAPHS WHICH CREATE A SPECIFIC ATMOSPHERE OF THE INTERIOR.
THE CONCEPT IS BASED ON A MINIMALIST CHOICE OF COLOURS. WHITE IS THE DOMINANT COLOUR WHICH MAKES THE INTERIOR LOOK VERSATILE AND ALLOWS FOR FREQUENT CHANGE OF THE SURROUNDING ONLY BY CHANGING THE ACCESSORIES. DUE TO LIMITED SPACE IN THE LIVING ROOM, THE COFFEE TABLE HAS A DUAL FUNCTION. LONG DRAPES AND CURTAINS IN NEUTRAL COLOURS MAKE THE WHOLE SPACE GAIN IN LIGHTNESS.
The project is developed in a plot whose bottom coincides with the perimeter of closure of a private neighborhood and beyond the limit, extends sown fields, allowing having a broader vision of the surrounding landscape and also having more privacy in the rear. Coincidentally, the rear facade is oriented to the north, so the most private part would have the best orientation.

A single-family residence located in a typical residential area, where two-story wooden houses are densely built. In order to obtain fine living environment while giving a minimum impact on the surroundings, we proposed a plan in which three volumes of the bedroom with the opening turned for the south are pulling out from the roof level as if they were a set of periscopes.
Saijo Clinic is a private mental health clinic with short-care/group-care programs on the 11th floor penthouse of a building facing Shinjuku Gyoen Park, 58ha urban park located in central Tokyo. The penthouse was originally built as a part of a gigantic signboard on rooftop. The sign graphic was later abolished by newly introduced landscape regulations, however, the space inside was left over. In designing the interior of the clinic, we sought to incorporate the extraordinary contrast between different urban scales.
