Kaohsiung city is a port and, as many other ports is in a situation of changing. The reasons of this changing have been very well analysed by many.. factories that move their production somewhere else. the decreasing of the traffic on the sea.. and many others depending on the particular locations. New York and London already provided, at least partially, to reconvert the unused piers or the part of the city close to the sea or the river previously dedicated to the maritime traffic to other destinations and a different life. The case of Kaohsiung is somehow similar, but there is a difference in the conception of the changing and the strategy related. Many cities just dismissed their piers and their warfs because they were useless and decided to dedicate these part of the city to new and different destinations.

The building is essentially a cover protecting the remains of a Roman assembly (thermal baths, forum and domus) in the archaeological site of Molinete Park in Cartagena, Spain.
This cover is certainly another piece in the historic area of Cartagena whose main architectural challenge is to reconcile very different architectures; from the roman time, passing through baroque to nowadays, making all the interventions vibrate together in the neighborhood. It is a transition element, between very diverse urban conditions: in size, material and structure; from the dense city centre to the sloping park.
Since its inauguration, Brasília is present in the imagination of all of the modern architects. Besides all of the inherent symbolism, designing in Brasília presupposes a contextualization with its monumental scale. The architecture that makes Brasília unique, sometimes also makes it distant from the human being and its needs.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, Beijing has made huge strides to solidify its position as one of the world’s great cities. It is a city that is modernizing rapidly—skyscrapers are rising out of fallow fields, a new transportation system is extending the reach of the city, and environmental initiatives are improving air and water quality. Fresh ideas are also emerging, while still embracing the rich traditions of the past. Near Songzhuang, a quiet village on the outskirts of Beijing, a unique opportunity exists to create a new urban district dedicated entirely to the cultivation of new ideas.
Public plazas and parks are also used for large gathering spaces for product launches, concerts, and other events
The project responds to the idea of extending the school with a multipurpose room in an adjacent plot which should be connected internally and have an independent entrance from the street.
The plot is rectangular in a 4:1 proportion and the aim is to have a whole 7 meter span open space with natural light and crossed ventilation. In order to achieve that the façade will have to provide as much light as possible and skylights will need to be incorporated in the roofing and on top of the internal staircase. The multipurpose room will be connected in two different levels with the school, at ground level through an ascendant staircase and at roofing level through a descending ramp.
The site is located in a row housing development , close to the aerodrome and the village of Marratxi and not far from Palma. The area has a mainly residential character with very few premises on ground floor, from time to time a restaurant or a bar. The plot is a rectangular corner, that cannot be entirely occupied, on the contrary the construction needs to set back from the main street and pull forward from the other limit.

The main goal of the Project is to get the maximum space for parking, premises and dwelling as the main demand of the client and we achieved that also providing natural light to all the spaces and cross ventilation to the main ones and creating living and singular spaces in all the construction at different levels.

The strategies we followed are:
1_ The construction is lifted up from the road level.
By doing that, the ramp descending towards the garage ended up beeing shorter so we could get the maximum number of parking spaces and beeing able to provide natural light and ventilation to the garage.
2_ The construction is set back from the street and pull out from the back of the plot.
So the front of the plot remains open which becomes a public space and people can gain access to the premises which could be seen from the street. This difference in height makes the front court to be an in-between space.
The lateral limit of the plot is made by a single wall which also forms part of the enclosure of the premises, with a top part of “fenêtres en longueur” that separates conceptually the dwelling. Where this wall is passing by the courtyards it becomes more permeable.
The back of plot becomes a private courtyard that also incorporates skylights at the ground level to light the garage.

3_.The roofing of the house is folded up.
The program organization follows the logical use’s order in terms of public and private, so the higher you go the more private the space becomes.
The staircase which leeds to the upper level is placed by the party wall and is lighted from a skylight placed at the terrace level. We arrive at the center of the house.
At the interior of the house, the private spaces of the dwelling (bathrooms and bedrooms) are packed by the party wall, there are no corridors.
The roofing is folded up in order to achieve, at the one side a double height unique space to allocate the kitchen, living and dining area, and at the other one, enough height to acommodate a mezzanine which will allow to exit towards the terrace that has views to the Sierra de Tramuntana. The continuity of the roof is given by a window which becomes skylight.
In the main level of the housing a canopy area is created at the front area which will allow to have an external space designed to be protecting the big window with an external skin.

4_The scale of is worked out with the materials.
The external wall is cladded in slate stones as an independent element. Then the folded roofing is cladded in limestone mares. The front and the back of the dwelling is rendered at first level and at ground level has a glass and aluminium facade.
The first step towards future Klasvík is a central situated square referring to the former landscape (the beach) in formations of the ancient building material the stone and the new industrial history – the beginning of Klaksvík – the stone pavements for drying fish – «Fiskastykki». The new Klaksvík will meet in a environment describing the essence of Klaksvík with the new layer of today´s life in an urban space for people to meet, engage and live modern life.
The architectural concept has been worked out to be presented at the second round of the competition on building of “Science & Technology Park “-“Innovation Center” residential areas (it is located outside the Moscow Ring Highway; in 2010 its architectural concept was won by “AREP” company) declared by Skolkovo Foundation together with Strelka Institute. At the present moment the design of “Science & Technology Park” is being worked out by five teams which include both Russian and foreign designers.
In Encyclopedia of dimensions .. Stage of the 6-D followed by a stage is the stage of the 5-D “rhythm”, which combining the 2 d and the 3-D at the same time This is the dimension used in the design of this building, so-called 6-D.
The building represents a conflict of civilization and time, mass No. 1 spins with a clock, to reflect the cultural future of civilization Mass No. 2 and begin to rotate counter-clockwise to reflect the tradition and originality, then turning back on track when it coincides with Mass No. 1 Mm shown reflects the blending of science and civilization, and confirms, culture effects on science and current research.
New York, New York. SO – IL, a Brooklyn-based design firm, completes new office and studio space for the New York operation of LOGAN, a bicoastal production company. The project is located in a 6,500sf corner loft space on the second floor of a land-marked building in the heart of SoHo. SO – IL’s design builds on Logan’s dynamic working model and attempts to create an environment that supports a strong sense of collaboration and collectivity. A large part of LOGAN’s team consists of mobile consultants that join the team on a per-project basis.
