The “Elle Maison” is a private house in Geneve outskirts. It’s located on an medium high plateau from which you can enjoy the view of the city and of the lake. The whole lot has an area of 830 square meters with an area destined to the building of 247 square meters. The plan is oriented north-south but the facade of the building moves on different axis. Starting from a central block the house has a performance offset as the lay of the land. The build is developed on three levels, the first and the second floor to be lived in, the basement floor is designed as a garage with two parking spaces. The first level is dedicated to the living area with the kitchen, the living room, a bathroom and a guest room, while the upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping zone with a main bedroom with bathroom and cloak room and a studio. The different levels are linked by a concrete stair, paved by white glossy Quartzite stones, in an unique open space from the entrance to the roof. In this area a fireplace welcomes family’s guests.
This reform was commissioned by a young Brazilian with a happy soul.
The character of the space is fresh and jovial, it was achieved thanks to the use of bright colors in singular applications and to the fluid disposition of the spaces.
Oodi represents a new era of libraries. The newly completed building in the heart of Helsinki consists almost entirely of public space and offers a wide selection of services. It will become the new central point for the city’s impressive public library network.
The design divides the functions of the library into three distinct levels: an active ground floor, a peaceful upper floor, and an enclosed in-between volume containing the more specific functions. This concept has been developed into an arching form that invites people to utilize the spaces and services underneath, inside and on top of it. The resulting building is an inspiring and highly functional addition to the urban life of Helsinki and the Töölönlahti area.

A stunning bar Winovnik was opened at the center of Dnepr, which is ready to offer the best wine in this city. We have done everything to make all the ideas real, the space, where all attention belongs to wine! At the main hall you can taste 30 kinds of wine and try chef dishes and at the adjacent space you have an opportunity to buy a bottle of wine that you like. Creating a design of the café we were focused on neutral tones and a feeling of lightness. A monochrome of the brick has it’s continuation in calm colors of furniture. Luxury green curtains complement the main color palette and divide space into functional zones.

The Chinese Academy of Art (CAA) in Hangzhou has two campuses. One is in the city center, near West Lake, and a new larger campus is in the outskirts. The presence of the architect Wang Shu is ubiquitous on the new campus: most of it buildings were designed by him. When we started on this work, he had not yet received the 2012 Pritzker Prize. The help that we received from both of him and his architect wife Lu Wenyu during the early stages of our work – and even today -, were and continue to be fundamental.
