M3architecture designed Mount Alvernia College’s new La Verna Building, Anthony Building and La Foresta Garden.
After being commissioned to complete the College’s master plan in 2011, the firm proposed a school based around three gardens; a community garden, a garden for gathering and a recreation garden.
The MAX IV Laboratory, a high-performance synchrotron radiation laboratory, is under construction on 19 hectares (47 acres) of traditional, productive land outside the city of Lund in southern Sweden. This advanced research laboratory will be the first built structure of the future ‘Science City’ in the Brunnshög area northeast of Lund.
The connection of rowing, art and music contains surprising similarities such as rhythm, flow, and movement. The goal was to create an architectural spirit that embodies the similarities shared by these three disciplines. We hope you see the abstract connections in the architectural form and light. Some connections are quiet and some connections are bold. Imagine a song inspired by rowing. It would be a composition cooler than the far side of the pillow.
A house is a place of habitation—a dwelling and shelter. A house is also a home—a place of identity. Just as an individual’s identity is personal (private) and social (public), the home is also a shelter separated from the world (inward) and a place of center from which to explore the world (outward).

Neushoorn (Rhinoceros) in Leeuwarden is a popular music venue and a school, all in one building. In collaboration with 3TO, DP6 architecture studio has designed a building that can take a bit of rough treatment while stimulating creativity. A dynamic building that fits into its urban context and delivers its function as a music venue and school.
The Cabañeros National Park Visitors Center and Interactive Museum is a public architectonic intervention whose main objective is to promote ecotourism in the populations that forms the environment of the park, through information, exhibition, research and care of the main values of this natural space.

The new building of the Supreme Court of the Netherlands by KAAN Architecten has been decidedly integrated into the elegant historic city centre of The Hague. The building, which houses a staff of 350, verges on large: 104 metres long, 22 metres deep and 27 metres tall. These dimensions, with the measured vibrancy of its facades, add some allure to this part of the city centre.
The plane trees and six legal scholars in bronze seated on pedestals make for a wide gateway on the Korte Voorhout, a royal route leading to the buildings from Parliament. The entrance hall seems to have been chiselled from a solid block of marble. It serves as a sturdy base for the superstructure of glass panels and slender latticework. These and other ostensible contradictions seem to reflect the work of the Supreme Court itself. Open and closed, distinguished and functional, hard and ethereal, rough and refined – all exist alongside routine business, on which judgements are passed with great clarity of mind.

The new visitor center is implanted in one of the greatest green space of Montreal; the Maisonneuve Park. The park spreads 63 hectares and allows citizens to practice varied sports all year round, including golf in the summer. The new building houses all the necessary services to operate the park’s driving range and golf course. It thus serves as the golf’s and one of the park’s entry points.
This new facility will supply the largest wind screen ever produced for a passenger car in the history of the automobile.
Over 1 hectare of industrial space and offices have been used to accommodate the installations. Located in Lima’scenter industrial area, the project negotiates a neutral façade with apristine interior space.
