The project is located in the city of Los Angeles a few miles from Venice Beach, in a neighborhood that has been growing substantially in the last decade due to its privileged location of being between the Pacific Ocean coast and the center of the city.
Dotted with limestone pinnacles, the World Heritage seascape of Halong Bay is Vietnam’s biggest attraction. Aedas-designed Alacarte Halong Bay Condotel Development occupies a prime seafront plot with large sweeps of unobstructed views towards the heritage site.
CannonDesign is proud to share the Maryland Heights Community Recreation Center, a new hub for recreational sports, wellness, and civic engagement located in this west St. Louis community, is open. Situated prominently along the city’s beltway and adjacent to Maryland Heights’ outdoor water park, the Center offers a prominent destination for residents with significantly improved space and a greater variety of activity areas for community use over their former facility on the same site.
Some years ago we were invited to design the Dom Pedro Complex project: two entire clubs, with headquarters, entrances and sports and leisure outdoor areas. The architecture should propose a unique identity for both clubs, but at the same time design independently flows organization, spaces, dimensions, relation with views and surroundings. Almost like two projects in one.
This project is part of Nuevo Sur in which we participate with a group of leading architects in the creation of a large mixed-use development in Monterrey in the north of Mexico. We had the great opportunity to also participate in the design of Gran Ciudad Nuevo Sur, one of the residential buildings of the complex.
The whole project was meant to provide an intimate environment in a densely populated area relying on energy and resource efficient eco-design. The five houses share a private road, a courtyard that is divided into smaller units, an indoor swimming pool and a wonderful SPA area. This creates a unique mix of public, semi-public and private spaces that beautifully enhance dwellers’ sense of community and closeness to nature.
The main goal of this project —located in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico— was to consolidate a contemporary image respecting and harmonizing with the local architecture to become an architectural reference of one of the most important tourist areas of the country. The challenge for IDEA Asociados team was to achieve a perfect balance both in its exterior architecture and in its interior design resulting in the creation of a beautiful building in harmony with its surroundings.
Kinnersley Kent Design, one of London and Dubai’s most prestigious design consultancies, has completed the interior design of Aloft Al Ain, a stylish new four-star hotel in the heart of the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium development in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
Casa Pinto is a country house surrounded by the olive trees in Salento, the southest area of Apulia region. It was designed by Insite Architetture Studio that consists of three young professionals in architecture and engineering. The front kept the facade of the previous 50’s house, typical in this area, and the back, totally white, is characterized by basic volume shapes and windows with a beautiful view.
This residence captivates the eye with interesting façades, playful volumes and a variety of exterior finishes. This modern-contemporary home adapts both to the urban environment and to the natural landscape that characterizes the neighborhood.
