Inside the Condominium Cot-Duá and following the same architectonical idea from the Casa Veranda, a series of houses are built and reproduced during the following years.
The Casa Cot-Duá consists of four independent volumes, aligned in the same direction, bound together by a single breathable and light roof, specially designed to allow natural ventilation and micro-climate controlled environment, while creating a fascinating play of light and shadow.
The Casa Bielman – Rios is a freestanding one family dwelling, located in Santa Maria de Palautordera near Barcelona and situated on a sloping plot of 700 m2. It is consisting of a basement of 102 m2, a ground floor of 94 m2 and a first floor of 84 m2. The house includes a pool as well, attached to the southside of the building. In the brief the client insisted on one hand on having a completely free diaphanous ground floor, with unobstructed views towards its surroundings and on the other hand required a self-sufficient heating & cooling installation and electricity supply to meet the standards needed to combat the effects of the climate change.
La Clara, a 25-storey residential tower overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, will stand as a secluded and refined oasis in one of South Florida’s most prestigious communities. With spaces created for peaceful living and perfect luxury, La Clara will feature one to three-bedroom residences that range from 1,500 to over 3,000 square feet and with three luxurious penthouse floors at the top. Most residences will have a south-east facing private terrace with panoramic ocean views that allows for plenty of natural light but still offers an ideal privacy. The masterfully imagined design for La Clara offers residents the sense of comfort that comes with a warm and welcoming home while evoking feelings of luxury and indulgent extravagance. The solid elements of the tower will be clad in white stucco while the podium levels feature Roman travertine, coral stone, and granite with bronze accents. Amenities will include a spa, an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, club room, indoor/outdoor private dining, a bar and lounge, as well as a private tasting room.
A bold yet minimal residence in Troon North contrasts against the organic softness of the desert floor and rising Pinnacle Peak Heights to the east. The geometric layout of the planters and sharp edges of block walls, accented with dark metal slots and apertures, stand against the backdrop of the mountain and desert brush. Entering the tall volume of the foyer not only connects one to the picturesque desert through a soaring two-story window, but also calls attention to bands of light intermittently cast through the walnut stair treads.
This residential home resides atop Mt Pleasant in Christchurch, New Zealand overlooking the natural landscape of the mountain and the waters of the Estuary. Designed to the landscape and surrounding environment, the building’s form stands honestly with purpose.
MC Architecture Studio was fully aware of the surrounding environments impact on the building and vice versa. The Wall House has been formed to address, and exist alongside, its exterior world. Its fragmented northern façade splits open for maximum sun contact, while protecting a sheltered outdoor living area from the prevailing winds. The shape creates two alternative wings, one reaching out to the North Eastern corner of the site, while the other leans to the North West directing out towards the view.
On the edge of the forest on the north, above the meadow on the slope toward south, with the beautiful view over the Danube River and the Klosterneuburg Abbey, all over to City of Vienna, this is the site where the house called “Widescreen” found her place.
Built for one big family, with the very special places for everybody needs, with two fire places and only one TV, and with an open view to the landscape from all rooms and spaces.
The Project was conceived with a re-reading of a traditional brazilian farmhouse, looking to bring traditional elements such as porch, patio, gable roof, eaves, combined with a contemporary design.
The first insight was to preserve the natural conditions of the site, a 2000 m² aclive, with 14 meters high difference beetween its extremeties.
Was defined the average elevation of the land for the implantation of the two volumes, on the left side the social one, facing the slope and taking advantage of the view with the pool set in half slope. On the right side is the private part of the house facing the slope, where are located the bedrooms and the reading room, protecting it from noise and giving better privacy.

A steep slope with impressive views over the metropolitan area of the city of Granada establish the environment on which the different volumes of the Aire house are staggered, adapting to the topography, generating different terraces and levels that are used to create terraces so that each spatial level communicates directly to the outside in a continuous inside-out that blurs the limits of what is built for the benefit of the outside space, the enjoyment of the impressive views of the landscape.
The site is a one acre, narrow slice of hillside just blocks above bustling South Congress Ave with tree top views of downtown. Rocks and native vegetation envelope the property, consistent with the casual, un-manicured character of its neighborhood.
Solving simultaneously the response to site and client: he, a musician who wanted a modern box with views to downtown and she, a yoga practicing mid-wife who wanted a barn with animals, the solution embraces and exploits the depth and slope of the land.
The Nest is a family home tucked away on a large bush block offering an acreage lifestyle within inner‐city Brisbane. Sitting on 4000m2 of land, the house was designed to heavily leverage the garden and north‐east aspect. Designed as an essentially single story, transparent pavilion engaging with the north‐east garden, the house uses the tennis court and lower level garaging to adjust the site to suite this agenda. A house of robust, tactile materials, this home was the second we had done for these clients, affording the project a rare opportunity to push the envelope.
