Gifan International main center is located in the industrial area of Tultitlán, Estado de Mexico; the company is responsible for the distribution of premium products to the largest supermarkets in the country. Within the 9,500.00 square meters of warehouses a specific area was assigned to the corporate offices of the company, we started in 2013 with the first design project without knowing the rapid growth that it would have in future years. According to this demand the client asked us for a new idea for the extensions of STAGE 5 (as we call this project), creating an industrial concept by integrating a new volume on top of the existing offices.
The Casal has been designed from CPVA in close collaboration with the municipal technicians and the Association of Pensioners and Pensioners of Palaudarias, giving rise to a facility that responds fully to the demands of the users and the demands of the promoter, without leaving On the other hand the architectural sensitivity and the environment where it is located.
The building is located on an island of municipal facilities where there is also a Nursery School and a Civic Center, at the foot of the Palaudàries highway. It has a single floor of 490 m2 built and has: the main hall, with access from the road, and a large multipurpose room with possibility of operation as 1 room, 2 or 3 independent depending on the use, with facade in the inner space of the island, where there is the courtyard of the nursery school. On one side of the main access, with a facade on the street, there is a kitchen, with its warehouse and an attached warehouse, and the exit to a terrace where it is planned to install a barbecue. On the other side of the main entrance, also with façade on the street, there are the rest of the rooms and services, which are two offices, a hairdresser’s shop and two general toilets.
The new “Tour de Suisse Rad AG” building is being built in Kreuzlingen, right on the popular bike path around Lake Constance. The building combines production, office, warehouse, exhibition space and a café under one roof. A striking entrance facade in exposed concrete shows up in front of the square, where customers can take a short break and water, or pump up their bikes again. From there the building develops on two floors over 100m along the Seetalstrasse and the track. Large facade units divide the facade into a rhythmic sequence. Large-format openings in the open café and exhibition area provide insight and enable good lighting of the workplaces. The storage area is illuminated by translucent vertical stripes and shows that the claim here goes beyond a purely functional architecture.

This industrial warehouse is located in Águeda, Portugal, in an area without any architectural references and surrounded by forest.
With no relevant references and a layout which consists of a warehouse area for finished product storage, a cargo area and office space, the proposal is intended to reflect the simplicity of the solution, given the simplicity of the requirements.
The lot, where the project is inserted, has a non-regular shape, perpendicular to EN333 in Agueda, Portugal.
Formal and functional constraints
Taking in account the regulations and municipality rules, the building was inserted to respect this rules and take in account the maximum permitted area to build.

Tradition, modernity. The industrial building synthesizes the essence of the company that resides in its interior. The design is characterized by differently sized gable roofs, covered by an undulating skin of black aluminum. The building’s aesthetic is complemented by a geometry bounded by sharp cuts at its borders.
In the building’s largest warehouse, we find controlled temperature storage for cheese. The inner skin is covered by polyurethane panels that thermally insulate the inner space from the outside.
In a slightly uphill corner plot positioned perpendicular to one of the main traffic routes in the center of Cesário Lange, a city near the state capital of São Paulo, five warehouses were established to absorb various types of commercial and service activities.
The initial premise for the project was flexibility, mainly due to the lack of definition of the programs that the modules of just over 90sqm would host. Initially, it was thought that these warehouses would be occupied by uses such as convenience store, pharmacies or small workshops, but it was not known how the building would be welcomed by the population of the city. In order to ensure that this uncertainty did not limit the commercialization of the spaces, the architectural design intended to be as flexible as possible, allowing a diverse range of uses and activities to be held inside the spaces. In addition to that, since the beginning of the design process the tight budget for construction stipulated by the client was considered, aiming a low initial investment and a fast financial return with the incorporation.
The place is a suburb of Sendai city in Tohoku Japan. It is a roadside location along a national road. Connecting information and people is thought to be important about the new business. That’s why most shared offices are located in well-accessed areas to create a business community, in Tokyo. As a different approach, we have designed a shared office that moves objects and people, taking advantage of the characteristics of the building and the location. We thought about connecting with the share office function, leaving the warehouse function and the delivery yard function that the building originally had. Users have shared offices that can do everything from business start-up, production, and delivery of goods. The operation of the shared office is a logistics company in Sendai City and supports logistics operations that take into account even overseas expansion. It is a facility that aims to expand into the world from Sendai city in Tohoku Japan, a local city.
