International design and innovation office CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati, in collaboration with Italo Rota, unveils the Greenary, a residence that revolves around a ten-meter-tall tree at the center of the house. Multiple living quarters encircle the tree’s leafy branches, all the way up to its top. Located in the Northern Italian countryside, the house was commissioned by Francesco Mutti, CEO of Mutti, the European leading producer of tomato-related products. The project advances CRA’s research into new ways of fusing architecture, natural elements, and advanced technological solutions.

Following the introduction of the Smart Working Plan, Epta decided to boost its change management journey which has started in 2019 and opted for a new office layout of the Milan headquarter.
Their needs were to create places able to make the company more attractive to new employees, and at the same time to increase the engagement and retention of the current team.
Architecture and people are closely intertwined and through the creation of a space, the connection between the individuals within a space is encouraged. This was the starting point for the installation designed by noa*. The concept proposes a kind of light and sound landscape, which welcomes visitors as they enter the exhibition.
On either side of the doorway, a crown of structural light-beams open up, each one at different heights, visually amplifying the sequence of the 17th-century portico that serves as the setting for the installation.
“Terrazza Aperol” open its doors in Venice, launched by the iconic Campari Group’s Aperol brand. Measuring over 200 sqm (90 of which are outdoors), the restaurant bar is housed in the spaces of a historic Venetian palace in Campo Santo Stefano, just a short distance from the Accademia Bridge. Designed by the Italian studio Vudafieri- Saverino Partners, the interior combines Venetian values and the brand’s distinctive style, capturing all at once both Aperol’s century-long heritage and the contemporary spirit of the Aperol Spritz.

WeWork, the global flexible workspace provider, is opening this week its newest building in Via Giuseppe Mazzini 9. This is WeWork’s 4th location in Milan.
The choice of a vibrant and touristy location
Via Mazzini 9 opens its doors this 15 March, in the heart of Milan’s lively tourist centre. Few steps away from the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Palazzo Reale and Scala Theatre, the building is located close to dynamic retail streets and is served by a wide choice of public transport, thus benefiting from exceptional accessibility. A prestigious and vibrant location in the city, which was a natural and strategic choice for WeWork. Muhannad Al Salhi, General Manager of WeWork Italy and Spain discloses: “Opening of a new WeWork location always starts with our future members in front mind – from thinking about how the design of spaces will inspire community and innovation, to the location of the building. Immersed in the greenery yet located in the heart of the city, a few minutes from iconic sites of contemporary Rome such as the Auditorium – Parco della Musica by Renzo Piano and the MAXXI – National Museum of the 21st century arts by Zaha Hadid, the architectural firm Alvisi Kirimoto has completed the interiors and the design of the outdoor spaces of a farmhouse rebuilt on the volume of the existing building, firmly anchored on a hill overlooking the Inviolatella Borghese park, north of the capital.
