A small sushi bar, which is part of the KIDO network, is located in one of the dormitory districts of St. Petersburg.
In this project it was very important to make an interior that would instantly attract the attention of passing by and driving by public to a new place.
Location for this house is Pribylovo village, situated on the inner Vyborg gulf shore. Regular flat site is facing the sea in the north and touches the water edge. Due to local law and the site restrictions, the house had to be built in the back of the plot, on a rather small area.
Calacatta marble counters, plain white-plastered walls and a simple concrete floor create a neutral backdrop for the culinary creations. Black details create a stylish. Cafe forms particular atmosphere and refined mood.
The sports pavilion with an area of 113 m2 was built in the suburbs of Saint Petersburg in 2015. The project is notable not only for its elegant architectural forms but also for unique building technologies used during its construction process.
The architects were faced with a task to design a complete sports facility within an existing suburban landscape and limited space. As a result, the pavilion became part of the landscape and the landscape became part of the pavilion: only 30 m2 of the forest grounds were allowed for construction with all of the trees preserved and integrated into the interior of the building.
An old one-storey building in the historic center of Moscow. After a reconstruction, the ceilings were elevated to 5.8 meters and gothic style panoramic windows were installed, a few years before our project began.
The ice skating rink is located on a natural lake in the Kamchatka peninsula, Russia. Kamchatka is positioned high in the mountains surrounded by volcanic terrain, nearby nature reserves, hot springs and scenic routes through the peninsula make the area popular with tourists and locals.
The lake is exposed to bright daylight with winter temperatures averaging 20 F, ensuring the lake stays frozen over the winter months, the ice rink uses photovoltaic cells to generate an electrical current in order to freeze the lake throughout the year or when needed for ice hockey tournaments, the rink is flooded from below the surface to keep it frozen and strengthen the ice. The project is multi-purpose, with an outdoor cinema and a natural geothermal spa, the design intends to reflect the fluid nature and ever changing state of the immediate environment. Geothermal turbines are also used to keep the lake at a frozen temperature and provide an energy source for the cinema. The precipitous mountain range has many natural hot springs and skiing ranges.
The house located in the 30 000 populated town in 150 km from Moscow. Private houses area in such places is highly diversified. There are absent any rules or limitations, one street can be place for houses build from trash and 3-storey height brick castle from 90-s. Surroundings full of “architecture without architects”, everything is always in process: if you need new room you construct it, without any project and with material you have for the moment. Belongings are divided by different generations and woodcarving neighbour with their plastic luxury. How to work with this diversified and often revolting surroundings?

The buildings are located in a rural setting, bordered by forest on the southern side, and the Istra river embankment on the northern side.

Pavilion construction continues development concept of the territory “Park Znaniy” in the context of a comprehensive upgrade VDNH landscape.
