Cars, pedestrians, wildlife all gain something from a new parking facility in Aalborg.

The former laboratory building situated at Eternitten is a fantastic setting for GAME Streetmekka Aalborg. The production building from 1963 testifies to the industrial history of the neighborhood with its raw and distinctive character, almost demanding to be conquered by urban street culture. Our main concept is to merge the informal nature of street activities into the existing laboratory building frames, creating spatial 'experiments' that inspire new connections between the many activities. Rather than separating them, an urban melting pot is created that encourages spontaneous activity and surprising events.
The recently completed Vestre Fjord Park by ADEPT is a recreational learning and experience landscape that generously contributes to the full experience of its unique site by the Danish fjord, the Limfjord. After four years of construction, the “House of Music” in Aalborg, Denmark was ceremoniously opened on March 29, 2014 by the Danish Queen Margrethe II.
This cultural centre was designed by the Viennese architectural studio Coop Himmelb(l)au as a combined school and concert hall: its open structure promotes the exchange between the audience and artists, and the students and teachers. “The idea behind the building can already be read from the outer shape. The school embraces the concert hall,” explained Wolf D. Prix, design principal and CEO of Coop Himmelb(l)au.
