P 4402 is a collective housing building that is located in the neighborhood of Saavedra at the exit of Av. Donado, more precisely, at the intersection of Av. Gral. Paz and Panamericana. It has six habitat units in a small corner lot of 8×14 meters. located in an atypical block with the limitations of the R2 B1 zoning of a middle residential fabric and that also has the possibility of building in the whole property.
The house was placed on two lots, reaching 3080.11 m2 and connected through the back area. The lots don’t have a linear relation but are connected by an angle that was profited by means of a particular deployment.
It is a corner lot in a closed neighborhood founded in 1968, with an important afforestation, to which the years have added an incalculable value. Different species of trees and shrubs combined give landscape value to the place throughout the year.
The lot to intervene is crossed by a row of large oaks and varied species on one of their fronts and in the bordering lots.
The project is located in a historic area of Cordoba city. The customer asked us for a novel design in keeping with the traditional style of this area. The premises are a traditional mansion that has been remodeled as a mall. The store was meant to reflect the latest trends, providing a contemporary setting inviting relaxation, with adjustable furniture arrangements and a cozy atmosphere, all done within the limitations of a low budget and other constraints.
We planned STANDARD 69´s concept as a gastronomic experience based in the product, with small sharing plates with flavors from around the world. A lively place with good music to enjoy with friends. The idea was to create a place that delivered high quality food and service in a friendly and casual atmosphere.
La Cuesta House is located within the “Sierras Chicas” hills, a few kilometers away from Córdoba, inland Argentina. Lying above tough slopes, there is a house that makes the architecture and the land meet through open spaces.
Far from the noise and stress of the capital, this home is located in a closed community on the outskits of Buenos Aires.
Situated next to a lagoon, this home aimed to satisfy the client needs and life style. Their profession linked to art was very important, the house had to be a piece of art, along with being functional and simple.
For the refurbishment of a terrace located in a classic house in buenos aires, Marantz focused on converting the roof into a new recreational spot by designing an area with green spaces, an orchard with its own irrigation system, and by expanding its living area by adding a grill and deck. A light structure was added, linking the two roof levels with a staircase that connects and saves space. This system adds a canopy where needed, and is left open for the areas that need natural light, like the orchard and part of the deck. One of the most important factors of the project was the budget, therefore the choice of materials was very important. Aesthetic and material quality and balance was achieved through the use of tinplate, tongue and wood joints, wood deck floor, and white plaster. The result is a green and environmentally friendly terrace that creates a place for recreation and relaxation for its owners.
