The interior design proposal was developed with a desire to provide the ideal conditions for a distinct and elevated experience through aesthetics and contemporaneity, all while meeting the program’s requirements as listed by the client.
The restaurant’s concept is directly connected to the cuisine that the space proposes to offer, and as a result, the interior architecture seeks to be symbiotic with the gastronomic menu and its far-eastern Japanese nature.
Lava Homes, a little “village” developed in Terralta, parosh of Santo Amaro, Pico Island, Azores! With a unique landscape, cultural heritage and environmental surroundings, where calm and tranquility predominate on the natural environment.
Located in the North Atlantic, between the European and the American Continents, distancing 1,600 km from mainland Europe (Portugal) and 2,454 km from the North American continent (Canada), Azores Archipelago are a world apart.
Forest homes Resort are located in Pico Island. Pico is the second largest in Azores and it is the home to Portugal’s highest mountain, with 2,351m above sea level.
Immersed in an inspiring force of nature, each Forest Home is planned and design as a “house in the tree”.
In the Atlantic island of São Miguel, in the Azores, an old stable from the beginning of the 20th century was converted into two guesthouses where history and contemporaneity coexist in balance.
The design's main goal was to keep the construction’s character, lines, and its rural atmosphere, while adapting the enclosed structure to a completely new typology and contemporary regulations. New openings where carefully shredded in the colored façades, as well as on the stone wall, and a new volume was added to the main construction, allowing for a second, smaller house to appear integrated in the whole.

The Arquipélago – Contemporary Arts Centre seeks to unite the different scales and times of its parts.
It is a transdisciplinary project whose mission is to disseminate, create and produce emerging culture: a space of exchange and interface for people, knowledge and events.
