The semidetached house is situated in Lozen village located near to Sofia, Bulgaria. Two-storied house. On the first story are situated: Living room, dining area and kitchen.
Second story: Master bedroom with bathroom, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The structure is concrete.
The Spot is a new multi brand chain of premium fashion sportswear stores, currently located in three retail spaces in Belgrade and Novi Sad, Serbia. The request of the client was to create a space oriented towards the customers who use sportswear to create their own style and identity. During the design process, the aim was to create a dynamic, modern and distinctive space, in accordance with the concept of The Spot. The idea was to design a unique space, which customers could easily identify with.
Designed for a couple at a crucial point in their lives together, becoming a unit of more than two. With a baby on its way, a new set of needs and priorities emerged. All the choices were therefore influenced by the lively family life set to take place in the free open spaces inside and outside on a daily basis.
TRLZAK studio was asked by ekies All senses resort to give a deeper meaning to the hotel’s identity. Inspired by Chalkidiki’s special ecosystem, where rounded stone volumes and pine trees are in direct contact with the sea, CTRLZAK studio developed creative solutions that underline nature’s presence and invite visitors to reflect on their relationship with it. The typical Mediterranean Pine tree (Pinus Pinea), which is found in the region, was the archetype of the project. Starting from the lower parts of the Pine tree, the roots are translated into various paths leading visitors gradually towards the sea shore and eventually branching inside the sea itself. Going higher up the tree-trunk, one finds the tinder fungus (Fomes fomentarius), an umbrella-shaped fungal species, that inspired us for the new shade coverings of the lounge area. The pine needles themselves become protagonists of the resort functioning as dividers and coverings taking the shape of articulate patterns that evolve in the restaurants, bar and in particular the Treehouse itself. Inside the tree’s branches though, there are also parasitic organisms such as the Pine Processionary (Thaumetopoea pityocampa) whose larvae form silk-like nests and constitute the inspiration for the ‘cocoon’ that wraps around the gourmet restaurant of the Treehouse. A seemingly negative connotation that creates yet a scenic setting hopefully making people reflect on their role within such a context while providing a unique gourmet experience, admiring the sea from within the tree’s embrace. The studio’s intention with the above metaphor and other related elements within the project is to underline, in a symbolic way, the transition of the visitor’s role from parasitic to symbiotic creating a harmonic relationship between humans and nature.
An award-winning Salt & Water studio presents the project of a family home planned for construction in Ruma, Serbia. Both the main building and the two additional objects on the lot were designed according to the energy efficiency parameters (B category). Respecting the basic parameters of the location, the house is oriented towards the south with the large glass surfaces on its front side. Windows and glass doors have triple glazing that provides the minimal heat loss (Alumil S650). The heating is produced by the geothermal heat pumps that use electricity and the earth’s thermal energy for an ecological heating system.
The optical shop C_29 / ’Optimist’, is an interwar listed building of a total surface 90m2 and is located in the centre of Chalkida. The space is airy and expands along the central market and the back courtyard / patio which is formed in the core of the building. The building itself is a composite construction with the ground floor being made of bearing masonry and the two floors of reinforced concrete bearer and filling brickwork. The main design aspect was the creation of a gradient technique in the texture of materiality in order to emphasize the reflection and the absorbance of light. This gradient tool continues to exist and plays a significant role even to the choice of materials, resulting in their sound existence or their theoretical absence in the formed space. Some utilitarian objects are transformed into prismatic sculptures. The courtyard space is defined by an imaginary cube. What is more is that the plan does not allow visual contact to the courtyard and the shop. Therefore, there is formed a wall at an angle of 45 degrees in the intermediate space fully covered by mirror , which results in visual continuity between the two spaces.
The Villa is located in Trnovo within the city center of Ljubljana, Slovenia. It is renovation of a small existing house dating from 1934.
Old house was designed by architect Emil Navinsek, known for inovation space concepts of a school non-corridor plan. He designed the house next to his residence for his two unmarried eldery sisters who lived together in a small surface of only 50m2 per floor.

DOC intertwines the typology of a compact house – having a low environmental impact – with the specificity of a unique location: distributary channel Borcea . The location and the desire of a new type of dwelling – a floating, multifunctional, mobile house – imposed special and complex constructive conditions. The high water level variations of the river due to seasonal changes as well as budget conditioning have resulted in constructing a trailer like platform that can be relocated. The house is responding to site changes and changes with it. Mobility as the main feature of the construction dictated the simplicity of the designed space. Compact and with a simple, rectangular plan, the space gets a spectacular feel through the manner it integrates with the location, complimenting it. Amazing images are brought in everyday use through wide windows and patio. Although very open, the pontoon provides visual intimacy from the city through its positioning. Its multifunctionality of temporary housing and meeting point for water sports lovers opens up new perspectives and exploration angles for a forgotten and undiscovered area – the Danube river and the Calarasi area. The building process began taking into consideration the context, location and community by harnessing an existing and abandoned pontoon that has been adapted to current needs.
At the beginning of 2016 we won an architectural competition to design a new look of the office branches of one of the largest banks in Bulgaria. We developed a detailed concept of contemporary outlook and new customer service environment that formed the basis for the renovation of the bank’s branch network in line with its modernization and digitalization policy. Stemming from the idea of future digital banking, we completed the pilot design of a centrally located bank office, opened for customers at the beginning of 2017.
