The keynote of the kitchen is found in the design of the ceiling, made up of slats of lacquered MDF, white like the rest of the kitchen units, that are integrated with the lighting and accompany us naturally to the exterior to enjoy the dining area. Article source: dom arquitectura

The aim of the project was to redistribute the space available at the premises, conditioning it for restaurant use. The shape of the spaces were quite irregular, so we proposed to concentrate the services – bar, kitchen and bathrooms.-, in the central area, This move, allowed us to place the two main restaurant areas one at the front elevation and the other facing the patio. Diners were always located in areas enjoying natural light, either facing the street or the rear patio.

The project consists of the complete refurbishment of a 160m2 apartment, in one of the most important axis of the city. The geometry of its original plan layout corresponds to the building typology with load-bearing walls parallel to the facade and the rooms positioned to each side of a long corridor. The owners were attracted by the traditional typology of the flat and its exceptional illumination by the three patios. It had not undergone any fundamental change during its 100-year life.
