The new building is designed for a sole activity: creation, an introspective and solitary experience, just as the painter told us. This led us to handle the volume compactly, with a uniform exterior design –layers of insulation and clear stucco in an expressive continuance of walls and cover– to establish a feeling of familiarity with the natural surroundings in an unobtrusive manner. The interior is a fluid and multiple concrete cavity – a direct result of the monolithic structural construction concept and the search for harsh and naked spaces that serve the artistic work that takes place inside.
The Born is a lively and authentic neighborhood in Barcelona characterized by different population and the most diverse shops. It has a heterogeneous town planning, laid down by narrow streets with old modest houses and streets with old majestic palaces, which have been renovated as a consequence of the tourism demand in this particular district.
In the fashionable maritime neighbourhood of the Barceloneta the streets, especially in summertime, fill up with crowds of turists and locals, looking for a place to have a good time. All the bars and restaurants have a huge number of clientele during that period, so that’s why important brands like Campari Group decide to open their doors directly to the public.
PISO PUJADES11 is a warm, fresh, luminous apartment, which through a series of quirks allows the owner to explore and maximize the space.
The apartment is a balance between social and tranquil space, the hub of life centering on the vibrant colours of the dining and kitchen area. Leading onto the living room, this converts to an overnight guest area, separated by curtains and reversible sofas. With an additional central bathroom serving the guests.

Dear Design were commissioned to design the new location of Dehesa Santa Maria in terminal T1 of Barcelona airport.
The objectives for this project were: to create a specially designed space for the boarding area, where one can comfortably pass time before long-haul flights. The surface was broadened and as it grew, it was essential to reorganize the space with fluid and intuitive paths. As the restaurant is located next to the glass facade, it was necessary to créate an element which provided shade and played with the sunlight.

The cinema project was designed as part of residential/offices/hotel complex in the suburbs of Barcelona city, Spain. The cinema includes 12 cinema rooms, a VIP lounge and public spaces. The main design challenge was the fact that this project was mainly underground.
The project presents the renovation of an apartment located in a building on the ‘Eixample’ neighbourhood, Barcelona.
Originally, the apartment presented a decayed and dark image due to the excessive subdivided rooms. The patio is very narrow and it scarcely receives light. Except for the two rooms next to the main facade, the apartment was barely illuminated by natural light.
