This art space takes the metaphysical blank space in abstract paintings by contemporary Chinese artists as its starting point. It uses natural light, simple black strokes and translucent materials to create a fuzzy, dream-like physical realm. The project is located within Beijing’s 798 Arts District, as a renovation of a former factory, originally build in the 1970’s during Mao Zedong’s Great Leap Forward.
Located in the Xinyuanli district in Beijing, SUNNI 67 is a private kitchen featuring fresh ingredients and exquisite culinary skills.
The idea of the design is to create a space about flavors that allows people to peacefully enjoy wonderful food from the bustling city. Inspired by In Praise of Shadows by Japanese writer Junichiro Tanizaki, the architect tries to explore the connection between taste and vision to create a space that is “melting dimly, dully back, deeper and deeper”.

Superimpose designed an exclusive members club and hidden wine cellar for a wine enthusiast. The project is situated at the top floor of one of Beijing’s newest and most high-end tower developments, the Genesis Community. Genesis Beijing is a mixed-use development combining a hotel, offices, gardens and a museum by Japanese Architect Tadao Ando. The members club will only be accessible to a private and selected group of members.

Goose Hut, as the name suggests, is the home of geese. Actually, it also implies the people’s habitat of life. As an old Chinese saying goes, geese fly to their home as people returning home. Returning home, the instinct and nature, shared by both geese and human beings, is contained in the name – ‘Goose Hut Bistro’.
Maybe you do not know the Goose Hut Bistro, you will certainly feel her warmth and sincerity as long as you stepping into the restaurant. We set a distinct position for the goose hut bistro at the beginning of our design.
BLUFISH-APM RESTAURANT Located on the basement level of the APM Shopping Mall in Wangfujing. Our restaurant created an underwater world full of fantasy and mobility with white as basic tone and a blue and pink colored metal mesh extending down from the top of the ceiling.

Wujiachang kindergarten project, located in Lianxijiayuan community on the south side of Lotus Pond West Road in Haidian District, Beijing city, is a kindergarten with nine classes. This kindergarten is built as a supporting facility for the surrounding economically affordable housing.
Penda recently finished a Hotel, placed in a Hutong area in the centre of Beijing and reinterprets the Hotel’s surrounding by its form and materiality.
The XinXian Inn Hotel is located in the centre of Beijing, the Dongcheng District around the corner of Galaxy Soho on the eastern 2nd Ring road. The low-budget Hotel is neighbouring the Xinxian Hutong, a large area with traditional chinese courtyard houses, which entrances are now mostly blocked by newly constructed commercial buildings. Throughout Beijing, the rich culture and vivid life-style of the Hutong areas are mostly getting replaced by high-profitable and shallow real-estate blocks. With the XinXian Inn Hotel, we tried to incorporate the atmosphere and history of the Hutong areas into a hospitality design.
MDDM STUDIO places two onyx slabs into a neutral environment made of concrete surfaces and white furniture
The new showroom of Principle M, a Beijing based tailored clothing label, features two entire onyx slabs in a white environment. The stones natural texture creates the focal points and introduces warm colors in a space designed to be simple and neutral to highlight the exhibited fashion pieces.
