Gallery Apartment in Minsk region, Belarus by ZROBYM ARCHITECTS

The combination of gallery space and a private house is one of the most interesting tasks for a designer. The main focus of the interior are paintings and icons of the private collection of the owner of the house. The walls are made in soothing colors, a lot of brickwork, for a better presentation of works of art. In the living room, the absence of a sofa indicates that the TV is no longer the main dominant room, here all attention is focused on the long racks along the walls, on which statues and paintings are located. In each room, there is a striving for minimalism, where, if not an object of art, takes attention to itself, then interesting furniture works as a part that you want to consider and study.

Tarasava in Belarus by ZROBYM ARCHITECTS

The customer came to us to update the interior of a private house near Minsk (Belarus). Add air to it. Despite the fact that the interior was quite fresh, it is morally outdated. We wanted something new, unusual, cozy. At first, it was decided to move the premises of the kitchen and dining room to a new, expandable room, thus increasing the area of the common room. A heavy, bulky concrete staircase was replaced by a lighter, more elegant staircase made of metal, covered with natural wood. As a fencing, non-supporting shrouds are used that penetrate the house on all three floors. The main finishing material was wood: the floor, furniture fronts, walls, and sometimes the ceiling, everywhere we tried to use wood in one form or another. Our architects played on the contrast of warm and cold – cold floor (tiles for concrete, flooring in gray cold colors) are used next to the warm wood on the walls and in furniture. The walls, painted white, served as the backdrop to fill the interior. Minimal presence of bright details can be found in the decor, interior and furniture.
