Located in a residential condominium in the interior of São Paulo, in the city of Cabreúva, Casa MP has 350 m² of built area, with a construction system in soil-cement/ecological brick with some elements in exposed concrete and steel. It is an ecologically correct and intelligent construction, taking the best of the characteristics that this type of material can offer.
For this project, we made a new office building for the Ribeirão Preto Shared Fuel Base. The building is developed on two floors. The upper floor has 12 commercial rooms, reception, and bathrooms, and the lower floor, living area, technical area, and storage – in addition to a covered area planned for future expansion.
The set of proposed interventions does not want to be highlighted. The general objective is not to impose the face of the new, but to reveal in a new way what is already there, through articulations, spatial dispositions and new paths that the interventions discreetly provide. The emphasis of the new elements does not reside in their appearance, but in their performance, in what they are capable of promoting, in their effectiveness in dynamizing and enhancing the virtues of the preexisting ones.

The CASAMIRADOR Savassi residential building, completed in 2021, is located in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and features boldly designed architecture that stands out in the local landscape. The building has 14 lofts and 24 studios, and is spread over nine floors in a construction located on a narrow lot, with a width of 12.7 meters. The challenge of its volumetric mathematics, to respect distances, was one of the factors that influenced non-obvious decisions resulting in architecture created with its own identity.
Based in Santa Catarina Building, on Paulista Avenue, in São Paulo, the architecture project of the new Schneider Pugliese office has its architecture by Starq Arquitetos. The project was developed for the floor where the law office was already based, but, after a consultancy with ST ARQ Associated Architects, the office ended up moving to where it’s based today, in the Santa Catarina Building.
Architects Amanda Castro and Giovana Giosa, from Studio AG, carried out a complete renovation of this 350m² duplex penthouse, located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
The clients, a young couple from Rio de Janeiro, wanted to bring a bit of the Carioca soul to this apartment, something authentic and different from the wooden paneling throughout the apartment. To meet these expectations, translucent and rhythmic wood and glass surfaces were created, combined with white wall plans, without losing warmth and personality.
The Boa Vista House is a refuge in the Brazilian countryside made of raw materials: stone, wood, clay and fair-faced concrete. Located on sloping north-facing land, the house was designed according to the client’s wishes: a country home entirely connected to the landscape, permeated by the fresh breeze of the woods, well lit, and at the same time protected from heat and excessive sunshine.
The transformation this property has undergone is certainly impressive. The ground floor apartment already had a super spacious private area, but it was barren and neglected. The interior was quite dark, with closed, small and poorly ventilated rooms.
The IC Residence is located in the city of Lagoa Santa, Minas Gerais. The land, measuring 5,000 m², is a relatively gentle slope, where the street-facing facade faces east. Solar orientation was a determining factor for the implantation of the house, located in a very hot region, where sun protection is essential.
As it is a weekend residence, leisure is a priority, special attention was given to the configuration of the outdoor spaces, and the way in which the architecture gives scale to these spaces. Although the plot is of considerable size, there is little residual space, most of the plot is usable. In this aspect, the interaction with the landscape project, by Luis Carlos Orsini, was fundamental.
Residence LF Santo André is located in Santo André, in the district of Santa Cruz Cabrália, Bahia, on a 20,000 m² terrain in Alameda do Araripe Condominium. The implantation of the residence was determined by the position of the terrain facing the beach. It is divided into 3 main blocks connected by covered, but open, circulations. Generous gardens separate them, transforming functional circulations into the enjoyment of nature.
