The project is located in a residential area in North Casablanca on a plot of 1000 sqm. The builtable area was spanning over a rectangle of 20×15. The client who is an artist wanted to have a house with curves, sensual lines, thin but yet discreet, protective without being stifling and many other constraints that defined the house’s architectural approach.
Villa Salam is projected on a north-south orientated plot, in a residential neighborhood in Casablanca. The house is attached to another one on the east side. The plot benefits from a sea view on the north side. The main concept is to have an open, transparent and fluid sense of the space, while maintaining the required privacy, in particular for the service spaces. Thus, the plan is organized around a kind of spine, patella which are the straight stairs.

When designing a home for my family, I had in mind the idea of a quiet place away from chaos, a fortress against the constant agitation of everyday life.
Gradually, this idea was nourished by the image of the Riad, this typical Arab-Andalusian house modestly closed off from the public and open in its center on a planted patio.
Facing the Atlantic Ocean, the formerly known as Restaurant La Mer has always been regarded as one of the gastronomic institutions in Casablanca. This project is a mutation this once mythical place into a high end Asian cuisine place rebranded LILY’S cuisine asiatique.
Lemay has won the prestigious international competition to redesign the corniches of Morocco’s Casablanca coast, which include the new seaside promenade of the Hassan II Mosque and the Ain Diab corniche. This win reinforces Lemay’s international presence and once again showcases Quebec’s creativity and design abroad.

This house is projected on a north-south oriented plot and features a blind façade on the street while being largely open on the side and the back with the south oriented garden.
The plan “silhouette” is the consequence of the urban rules and the need to perfectly fit with the adjoining house on the east.

Project of residence for the private owner in Casablanca, Morocco. The difficulty was to place quite a large spacious house and a relaxation area with a swimming pool on a small plot of land.
The construction of the new Casa-Port railway station is part of an overall urban remodelling plan for a district located on the edge of the port of Casablanca, linking the old city to the north of the urban area. The project is also designed to keep pace with the growth in rail traffic anticipated by Moroccan Railways (ONCF).
To join the urban landscape of Casablanca, dumdum design draws for the restaurant Sforza Visconti, a villa with a 30’s character. Wide rounded overhang roof decorated with sculptured patterns, underline the white art deco facades. A large mosaic in the colors of the restaurant welcomes you on a green and intimist terrace.
