We designed a beauty salon named ARKHE (refers to the ancient belief that water is the source of all creation) around the theme of water.
This is a space made up by the charm of its raw materials, thus, by using aluminum and bringing out the beauty of the material we bring into existence a space filled with transient and ever-changing light, like the reflection of light on the surface of water.
Recycled aluminum sheet was used to express the flow of water and hair, reflecting the airily soft light, like sparkling light on water’s surface, and filling the space with elegant and sensual curves.

It is the area developed on a large scale as resort property of a bubble period near by from the sea. Most of other sites are untouched and the owner of land and right relocation of a site boundary or a road are not certain. This cottage for a client who likes fishing stands to a site like a vast weeds place.

To make low-cost, the walls is only shower room . The other is the window. By opening the window that looks like outside. So this building looks like among from thr tent to the architecture.
The renovation of the museum in the park near the lake in Ichi- hara city, Chiba, Japan. Roofs are like if the strings were surrounding the existing building. These strings are connecting the roof of the exiting building, garden on the ground, and the lakeside. Moreover, the parts of them become the spaces to connect outside to inside and visitors can walk around them.
“Soil” is the most popular structural building material in the world building industry. However, concrete and steel has been used more in 20th and 21st century. As a result, chaotic non-characteristic world is spreading out, and regionality has been disappearing. Japan is originally rich in forest, and developed high recognition of wood culture over thousands of years. Now, Japan is facing the situation that the uses of imported wood are increasing compared to domestic timber due to the economical reason. At the same time, we are on the “century of environment”, cannot avoid researching environmental friendly material and structure. In order to resolve problems described above, we think “material not to be influenced by economy” and “environmental friendly material” are essential.
Located in Suburb area, House in Yotsukaido stands on the corner plot site facing a retention basin. Generally speaking, a ground floor is bigger than or at least equal size to a upper floor, here inversed condition occurs, a bigger upper floor on top of a ground floor. Le corbusier `s Villa Savoye would be a good example of this composition. What differs from it is that load bearing system, not columns but semi opaque walls.
