The house is located on the top of a slope site of 5000 sq. meters, characterize by local trees like Quillayes, Cactus and Espinos. The principal views points to the valley and ravines oriented to the north. The assignment was to generate a refuge, efficient and simple, from the beginning of the construction process to his after use.
Three interventions in a 5000 m2 plot in a suburb of Santiago: A meditation hall (or Dojo) at the bottom of the site, a small pavilion in front of the family pool, and the refurbishment of a terrace that was virtually unusable because of high temperature and reflected light. In each case, outdoor spaces were enhanced to face the high temperatures in spring and summer.
The house is located in San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, on the northern foothills of the system. This place is outstanding in terms of orientations, its 40% incline and the morphology of its soils. The commission involved a house, which required a central court or patio which organize the design of different programs. As regards inner spaces, it was necessary to emphasize the continuity of the spaces involved so as to integrate the different activities that were developed within them.
The house is located in a district in the east area of Santiago, and one of its characteristics is the presence of old trees. The spaces are organized in an “H” shaped plant adapted to the lot, having great care for the trees and creating patios that reinforce their presence from the inside.

From the evolution that squares have experienced, there is a new way to use and exploit its inside: the galleries. The main function of these is to link the exterior and interior of the block from the gallery as a space for mediation and where public space is mixed with the commercial one. In Valdivia, a city where it rains most of the time, this type of space is an opportunity to experience the city throughout the year and revitalize the public space and local business.

The project is situated in the border of Queulat National Park in Patagonia, 3 hours away from Cohiaique, which is the nearest city. This compromised the material and construction logistics decisions to secure its construction quality and ageing because of tough climate conditions. The project was built in 4 months. The process consists of bottled glacial water.
The project consisted of three cabins located in Maitencillo, Chile on a small site 15 mts. wide by 35 mts. deep. The design had to guarantee the independence and ocean view of each unit, keeping at the same time a unitary composition of the three cabins. That is to say, it should function either as one big house or three independent units that could be used by different families. Additionally, the project was restricted by a tight budget and a short construction period that forced the use of cheap materials and efficient constructive systems.
Ombú is an Office Building project, located in the Andres Bello Avenue, at the Providencia District of Santiago, Chile.
Its name comes from a type of tree that grows in the surrounding parks, and expresses the privileged location, right by the riverside, the Sculpture Park, and the San Cristobal Hill.
Although surrounded by parks, this does not interfere with its commercial appeal. The building is only two block from the commercial axis represented by Alameda-Providencia-Apoquindo-Las Condes, one of the main streets of Santiago, and one of the most important commercial corridor in the country, and perhaps South America.
The office was founded in 1986, by Architect Juan Sabbagh P. and Designer Mariana Sabbagh P., both graduated at Universidad de Chile.
