Design and construction of a house near Chrudim, east Bohemia. House is located on the very edge of the protected landscape area, which directly define the classical form of the house with a gable roof and also defined the selection of natural materials for cladding the house. The house has a swimming pool with roof cleaning system and garden house.
The house is situated on level ground and consists of three main axially symmetrical rectangular blocks. By its situation and shape, the house deliberately splits the garden into several parts: front garden open to public view, back private garden and small atria – each such garden space can be designed in a different style. Despite the corner plot, the spatial layout affords the family a good level of privacy.

Construqta – sophisticated beauty of concrete
We enjoy referencing basic construction elements in our designs. Moreover, when you want to design a concrete-made piece of urban furniture, especially if it has to be light, a trussed beam is the right inspiration to opt for. Its maximum strength with minimum materials used spells efficiency. The material used is Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) and it has little to do with traditional concrete. In addition, it is quite expense so achieving aforementioned efficiency was not easy for us. The design’s form is rather restrained engineering-wise and austere but to fine-tune its functional properties took month to accomplish – a lot longer than we originally anticipated. Finally, we can rejoice. The monumental, almost three metres high piece of high-grade concrete shows its grace from afar. When observed closely, its intriguing and sophisticated geometrical lines come into play.
This flat with industrial taste is located in a new building of so called “developers-project”. The architect deal with a complicated layout thanks atypically solved pieces of furniture. The total number of by her designed pieces ended on the figure 44. She added few iconic pieces of furniture, predominantly designed in 50’s.
A young couple has purchased a lot in a resort area of Lipno. The lot was located in the woods of the local foothills. An old summer-house, that had been built on the lot in the 80s, needed to be turned into a primary residence for this young couple. They both love the outdoors and wanted to be closer to the nature around. The main goal of the house’s redesign was to keep its simple form and to create a connection between the nature outside and the interior.
