The 140 ha property is located on the outskirts of Azaruja village, Évora district. One senses this vast plain through its corks trees and the small constructions that punctuate the landscape, making it noticeable and humane. A hundred year old agricultural construction is to be refurbished and enlarged in order to accommodate a small tourism unit.
Ecork is a Hotel in Évora , Portugal , with a spa , health club , gym, restaurant , bar , conference rooms , outdoor pool and 56 bungalows .
Built on a set of cork and olive trees, the general plan is inspired in the Medieval villages of the Alentejo, where it was common to find a main complex ( Castle ) and several white buildings around it .
LOGOWINES’s winery is located in a strip of land of 3.5 hectares, part of the Herdade da Pimenta in Évora. With a rectangular configuration of 110m by 27m, it is composed of a volume coated with cork panels, intercepted by three gray “boxes” , that organize the main functional areas of the winery. The winery has a total of 3,780.00 m2 of construction, distributed in two floors, with one partially buried in order to take advantage of best weather conditions / environment for production, wine making, wine storage and aging.
