The quiet Matteotti Village, a suburban residential neighborhood of little one-story houses with a small yard and a kitchen-garden, was planned and implemented in the 1930s with the ominous name of Mussolini Village adopting pseudo-rural typologies and using autarchic materials. Few steps away from House D, implemented by Pasini and Ranieri five years before, House P is extended starting from an identical existing building and in accordance with prescriptive ground figures in the planning codes.
The Town Houses along the Ronco River are part of a larger mixed-use development establishing an urban spine. The site is a vacant area in the outskirts of the town on the bank of the Ronco River, elongated from the Via Emilia and a secondary road providing motorized access. A series of irregular sheds stand in disarray along the sides.
