The Saint-Isidore district is within the scope of the Operation of National Interest of the Plaine du Var, the site is therefore part of the project of eco-valley that puts sustainable development at the top of the concerns of the mastery of work as mastery of work.
The president of the Région Occitanie / Pyrénées-Méditerranée, Carole Delga, in the presence of the Mayor of Narbonne, Didier Mouly and the President of the Metropole of Narbonne, Jacque Bascou, visited the new museum of antiquities in Narbonne to mark the completion of the building envelope. This was also the first opportunity for invited members of the press and elected officials to visit the site of what will be one of the most significant cultural projects in the region.
The new Ministry of Defence building is a complex operation due to its dual urban and architectural nature. It is located on a 16.5-hectare site divided into three plots: the Victor plot to the east (8.5 hectares) is home to the Cité de l’Air, whose buildings have been either demolished or rehabilitated; the central Valin plot (8 hectares) is occupied by the ministry’s main building, and the western Corne Ouest plot is given over to a commercial real estate programme.
ANMA was tasked with coordinating the three plots, building the ministry’s main building (146,500 m²) and restructuring the Perret building on the Valin plot, as well as constructing two buildings on the Victor plot.

First home built at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris for 48 years, it is also the first concrete realization of the major campus development project. While continuing its humanist project, the Cité internationale is increasing its capacity by creating 10 new homes (1,800 new homes) and is adapting to the expectations of international students in the 21st century by modernizing its infrastructures and services by 2025.
The district courts (TGI), instance and trade Limoges are now grouped in a new courthouse, which opened to the public in June 2016.
Located in downtown Winston-Churchill Square, it is close to the historic Palace of Aine Square, which retains the Court of Appeal, joined in June by the Regional Administrative Service (following the move from the TGI to the new building). Officials and magistrates of all the courts thus benefit from a modern and comfortable building, at the height of their missions and the expectations of the litigants.
Facing north south, with a triangular form, the land is of a small size (785m2), which is why the house plan is part of the administrative limits of the parcel’s removal. With its endemic plants – a vast majority of pines and agaves – , its low walls made of stones and its extraordinary mediterranean view, this protected place doesn’t have sanitation or possibilities of access for the construction site. Inhabited by mediterranean culture and grecque mythology, Christophe Migozzi revisits the primitive atmosphere of the cottage by reinterpreting a contemporary version of “Ulysse’s vessel that surfs on a slope like a crab trawler.”
The Hellin-Sebbag office began work in 2004 on the Saint-Charles Hospital site at Montpellier.
Delivered in 2011, the first phase converted the general hospital into university buildings for graduates and researchers in the Faculty of Humanities, Paul Valéry University.
Patience and perseverance were necessary to restore new life to a site at this scale.
The present building is showing off a typical facade of the eighties office towers’ architecture, with a less satisfying relationship with the soil, a heightened repeat of a floor standard, of a window type, with a simple and smooth façade thus a kind of autism to its own context.
The building wanted to be a tower, but it’s not. Its small length didn’t allow it to compete with its close sisters. Its location, on the fringes of La Defense’s slab, makes it belong more to the “domestic” city and its codes. Thus, he should renounce to his solitary object status.
The project is trying to rectify those miscommunications by making “Ampère e+” belong to the urban system of Courbevoie’s city, by supporting the transfer of the circular boulevard into an urban boulevard. Our task was also to shape and rank the present building, to make it comprehensible and careful to its urban context.
When we discovered the immense sky and the plateau devoid of physical constraints we sought to capture the landscape by a simple form and by an abstract architectural language.
The proximity of the site to the edge of the woodland led us intuitively to the primary material as it seemed necessary in this country-side site to place the building lightly on the ground. To achieve this we chose to define the project by a steel exoskeleton.
Historically the port of Sète owes its existence to Louis XIV (1666) who decided to create an outlet to the sea from the Canal du Midi. Associated for a long time with the wine trade, today it serves as a port for the whole of southern France. Like other Mediterranean sites, Sète is in an important position for the French Research Institution for the exploitation of the sea (IFREMER), a major player in scientific and maritime technology and much acclaimed worldwide. At the beginning of the year 2000 the branch of this institution in Sète set up on the edge of Etang de Thau leaving the old building to the mercy of graffiti.
