The Project is located in Hainan, China. It is a newform office space, attempting to break through the traditional office configuration, making the space more flexible and functional. By using the concept of interlaced and stacked structure, it defines and directs the nodes of the space as well as allow the connection between one area to another area.
Gerber Architekten have been awarded 1st prize for their design of the Hainan BoAo Bio-Medical Regeneration and Research Centre. This new 90,000 m² health resort with a medical centre and associated stem cell research facilities is to be constructed on Hainan Island in the South China Sea. It will be a unique combination of world-class medical departments and facilities for rest and recuperation, equipped to provide the highest standards of comfort.
Award winning forest resort style spa residential architecture in China’s Hainan province. It’s sited by the Wan Quan River which residents can view the beautiful scenes of river. Design was centered round a tropical resort style hotel clubhouse. Apartment buildings were leveled from back to front and higher to lower level. Front was shops along street.
Hainan Luxury Residence is located in amazing and stunning Hainan Island. It’s luxury apartment or within years several apartments for rent. Main idea is to combine beautiful panoramas with minimalist design inside. 280 sqm of private space with two floors. Ground floor is all open space with kitchen, dinning space and living space. Spacy terrace with amazing view is part of living room. There are minimalist stairs which are in some way dominant in the interior. Upstairs there is separated bedroom with spacy bathroom. It’s all prepared for most demanding visitors from around the globe.
Green Health City is an ecologically sustainable development designed to support and promote the condition of physical and emotional human health. Situated in China’s Hainan Province in Boao Lecheng on the Wanquan River, five island districts bring together world-class medical facilities, employ new strategies for green energy production and rethink transportation networking to achieve a sustainable urban prototype. Pathways toward a sustainable future are forged through strong ties to local identity and respect for history. By establishing a cross-disciplinary and inter-cultural approach to design that is routed in China’s long history, a comprehensive and well considered scheme is achieved.
