Zhangjiakou Library in Hebei, China by TANZOSPACE

Two million years ago, human groups with different culture backgrounds converged and multiplied in Zhangjiakou. They initially reclaimed the land here, opening a precedent for Chinese civilization.

Since then, this piece of land is never be barren. Eastern humans and Chinese civilization have come from here. With the approach of the Winter Olympics, Zhangjiakou is showing its new look to the world.

Aranya The TANG Hotel in Hebei, China by B.L.U.E. Architecture Studio

Site

The project sits in the neighborhood with rich cultural and humanistic atmosphere in Aranya community. The east side of the hotel faces the south bank of the gold coastline, and provides excellent ocean views. The other three sides are surrounded by a group of five-or-six-story European style residential buildings. Hence, the site forms an outline of hexagon, and it features a spatial scale and form similar to the city plazas in small towns in Europe.

QIRAN DESIGN GROUP conceived a sales & experience center for the residential development THE OSMANTHUS GRACE, which is located in Shijiazhuang, the capital city of Hebei Province in Northern China.

The vast land and majestic landscape in Northern China carry historical memories, and have given birth to diversified cultures and cultivated the forthright, cheerful character of people there. As an essential town and transportation hub in North China since ancient times, Shijiazhuang enjoys a profound historical context and distinctive city spirit.

Vanke Beijing Upward in Hebei, China by Lacime Architects

Starting from the Oriental Town, Vanke Beijing Upward uses modern design language and combines abstract oriental design elements to show the interdependence between building and garden in a clustered layout. Built along a vertical axis, the project resembles a small garden with an asymmetrical arrangement of a string of courtyards and constructions in different shapes and sizes.

1 Background
The site of this project is located in the valley of Rehe, the North of Chengde City in China, providing primitive forest environment. In ancient times, there were enormous volcanic eruptions, leaving the site natural and superior hot spring resources.

Raffles Kindergarten Complex in Hebei, China by Interval Architects

Project background:

The project is located at Sha Cheng, the center of Hualai city in the province he Hebei, China.  120km way from Beijing and at an altitude of 550m above sea level, the site is at a place where there are great mountains, nice air and extremely bright sun.  The place is also famous its frequent and heavy wind.

Instead of a single kindergarten, the project is actually a kindergarten complex consists of a kindergarten, a education center for children and residence for teachers.
