3500 Millimetre house is 3,5 meter (3500 millimetre) wide by 17 meter long housing a young family of an architect, his wife and his son. The programs contained is a result from discussions between the architect and his wife, questioning the things they’re really need instead of what they want. Thus resulting in a 100 meter square house that provide basic programs for its user with 35 m2 master bedroom occupying the ground floor, Living-Dining-Kitchen (LDK) + laundry at second floor, a bed-play-study space for the son, and a rooftop with a city view.

The Garden is a Casual dining restaurant in Pantai Indah Kapuk, North Jakarta, Indonesia. The design concept behind The Garden is ” Lush tropical garden with colorful flower ” which derived from the real garden in indoor area with the feeling of being outdoor. The challenge is to create hidden gem lush garden which located at the shop houses. To give the illusion of the location, not being just one of the many uniformed shop houses on that row, giving it distinct features. The concept for this restaurant is to attract people, so that they are feeling like they are dining in the middle of a garden. The architecture, interior and landscape design of The Garden is merged all together, with the feeling of going back to nature, using all natural natural materials and plants. A Garden warehouse architecture with splashes of rich tropical colors and plants designed specifically to blend with the surrounding nature. Digging a little deeper into the concept, the building itself is positioned at the center of a literal beautifully designed tropical garden. To top it all off, the building plan of The Garden is intentionally designed as an open plan space, eliminating the boundaries between the indoor and the outdoor. The Interior is blend in with the lush tropical garden.
Singkawang Cultural Center is located in Singkawang, a small city in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. The city has been a home to ethnically diverse community for many generations, with three major ethnic groups of Tidayu: Tionghoa (Chinese-Indonesian), Dayak & Melayu. This diversity enriches Singkawang with abundant art & culture. The annual cultural events are later developed as Singkawang tourism highlights, such as: Cap Go Meh Festival, Gawai Dayak Naik Dango, Ngabayon Dayaknese Festival, Malay Art Festival, and Ramadhan Fair.
Furniture showroom in Jakarta designed by Dymitr Malcew is referencing the factory, emphasising on the spirit of authenticity and energy.
The main goal of the project was to create a unique yet flexible space that functions as an office as well as well as a showroom. The design concept is based on the story of the furniture factory, the idea was to bring the unique and authentic spirit all the way to Jakarta while adding local influences without being too literal. Raw and natural finishes and textures such as cement, wood, felt and metal used throughout the space, communicate honesty, authenticity, craft and the human approach. Visitors are welcomed by a futuristic feature signage wall with a logo reinterpreted in black steel, LED lights and moss used as a backdrop. Showroom and office areas are interconnected, however, a screen divider with traditional Indonesian cut-out pattern is creating a sense of privacy.

One of the main objectives for retail space is to create an inviting space that anyone will feel welcomed and not intimidated. Bright ambiance for clear product information (pricing) that any visitor can check without staff’s assistance, easy access to various products, seamless flow of space; all of these are taken into consideration to enhance product sales. Having casual sitting area also enhance most guests to try product right away with variety of Spanish tapas in premises.

Music House is a 420 sqm residential built at Alam Sutera, Indonesia, for a musician family. This house is designed to cater the activity of family and guests, such as playing instruments, recitals and rehearsals.
The linear 4 story arrangement counteracts the steep slope of the site by becoming a bridge house.
The central theme of the ensemble is combining two architectural expression:
-The idea of a romantic ruin, strongly connected to the ground, and a light, fading, transparent structure holding a series of roofs-two images working with and against each other.
The front and back facades on the first story are solid, providing covered exterior space while maintaining the volume’s geometric purity. A public-private transition is created at the villa entry, and continues down at ground floor level. Seen from outside, the solid-void composition can clearly be read. A long transparent façade encloses the open living space – the “void” – and two closed stone blocks at both ends mark the “solid” private spaces.
Located in West Jakarta, House 13 aims to accommodate a comfortable residential living by utilizing the simple lines of modern architecture. With the client not wanting to be constantly dependent on air-conditioning, Insada designed House 13 to have a working cross ventilation so that natural breezes are able to cool the main living spaces.
