The architecture and interior design of the house are the artwork of Shirli Zamir, the owner of the house, who has 14 years of experience at planning and designing working environments. During her work as a colleague at “Setter Architects”, she planned big and famous offices such as “Facebook”, “Algotec”, “Autodesk”, “Paloalto”, “Fiverr” and many more. Some of the projects planned by Shirli won local and international awards.
Axelrod Architects, led by Principal Irit Axelrod, recently transformed a single-family house in Tel Aviv to reflect the homeowners’ love of serenity and sleek modern design, and the firm’s vision of modern residential architecture. The firm provided architectural design and interior design services for this 510 sq m / 5500 sq ft residence, consisting of two levels plus a basement, on a landscaped lot size: 710 sq m / 7600 sq ft.
The new addition to the Rishonim Junior High School at Ganey Tikva, emerged from the desire to turn the usual experience of institutional domination into a celebration of the freedom of choice.
The 240 sqm duplex apartment, located in the Sharon region of Israel, intended for a home of a young couple who works in the high-tech field & expecting a baby. The couple commissioned Interior Designer Yael Perry to renovate their 240 sqm duplex into a con-temporary colourful space for their family & friends.
The King Solomon School is a Jewish, bilingual and International school in the center of Israel. It promotes holistic education.
The design concept is based on the wish to translate the pedagogical – philosophical idea of the holistic education to an exciting learning experience.
The Star of David symbol was the formal inspiration for the design. The inner shape- created from the intersection of the two triangles- is a hexagon, a shape with universal values.
A private residence frames a spectacular natural context, on the hills surrounding the Galilee Sea. Folded in a plastered white envelope, the inner spaces are oriented towards the view and invite it to enter the family’s domain.
Kidron village consists of large agricultural estates, is situated on a plain turf in which the size of the plots dictates large distances between the various residential houses.
Olive vineyards are the main component on the land on which the Aloni family house was designed and built. The idea was to design a “connector” between the front and the back vineyards. In order to do so, the house was placed in morphological correspondence to the olive trees, with the olive rows parallel and perpendicular to the front of the house together.
The “Ganei Shapira” project was built on a 1 Acre plot, owned by the Tel Aviv municipality. It is located between Tueri Zahav Street and De Modina Steet.
The project encompass 69 apartments which will be available for rent under the Affordable Housing scheme. 42 apt are 3 bed room apt.(around 80 sq/m), 27 apt are 4-5 bedroom apt (90-120 sq./m).
Creating a new urban plaza, the project includes studios for dance, music, sports and a library. Completed in 2016.
The community center includes a variety of spaces, such as an arts and crafts workshop, music rooms, dance studios, martial-arts studios, a multi-purpose hall and a ‘youth wing’. Next to the main building is a library, which operates as a multi-media center, attracting visitors of all ages for a variety of activities. The two buildings are designed to operate together and separately.
