Our work for Kaufman, one of the leading importers and distributors in the fields of health, comfort, design and lifestyle in Israel, was full of creativity. Kaufman Group is steadily expanding in all directions, from the web to brick and mortar. The newly created logistical center for the Kaufman space needed to depict this growth, as well as house and showcase all of its brands. It needed to embody a logistical center, but it also needed character and design.
The inspiration for this design utilized the personality of all of Kaufman’s brands, this includes the classic Italian design (Natuzzi), the comfort and ergonomics (Dr. Gav), the young vibe (Marley), and others. Through the diversity of the designs and the adhesion to Kaufman’s brands, this space brings life and joy to each who enters.

Bar Orion Architects, a leading international architecture firm based in Israel and established by Tal and Gidi Bar Orian in 1990, today officially unveils its latest project – Mapu 5 – a square-shaped, new-build residential property located on the corner of Mapu and Yehoash Streets in the heart of Tel Aviv’s White City, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its extensive collection of Bauhaus and Eclectic Architecture-style buildings.
Upon entering this private house in the center of Israel designed by architect Raz Melamed, you are greeted by the pool that leads you directly to the entrance to the building, and immediately from the entrance sets the tone for an interesting architecture that knows how to combine simple lines to create a unique space like no other.
The whole architecture is a simple rectangle that materializes architectural richness thanks to an interesting cross-section design, which stands in contrast to the restraint of the colors and materials.
The property seems to be cloistered, intricate, slightly hidden from view, and perhaps even a little humble for passers-by.
It possesses an abundance of tension between its interior and exterior while making extensive use of authentic materials, of whom concrete is undoubtedly the star of the show. The ‘wow’ factor, as described by architect Dan Israelevitz, ‘reveals itself once you enter the home where you experience a sense of quiet and immense admiration. The property communicates and is a home whose presence is deeply felt. The house was built, planned, and designed by Dan and Hila Israelevitz.
